Jennifer Lopez and birthday boy Marc Anthony were all smiles yesterday on Capitol Hill, where they met with Nancy Pelosi and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus in the afternoon before bringing the twins by to check out the White House. That night, Speaker of the House Pelosi presented Marc with a Lifetime Achievement Award as his wife proudly joined him on stage. President Obama and Michelle also came by to honor Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who chatted with Jennifer and Marc as they all celebrated Latin culture in the US.

9Too bad the real heroes in our America can't be honored. Instead we get the big celebrities making billions a year who host a charity. How hard can it be to delegate people to run your charities ,collect donations from Americans etc., while you claim the big prize from corrupt politicians??
10Jennifer looks stunning! But why all the bashing? I'm glad there's recognition for the Latin Community! Latinos don't get recognized at all and there's always so much negativity. If it was any other star getting an achievement award, there would be praises instead of bashing.
