Matt Damon is still making his way through Australia promoting The Bourne Ultimatum, although based on the movie's record-breaking opening weekend, we'd say Matt's work is pretty much done. The Bourne movies were based on a trilogy of books, but after so much box office and critical success there is talk of another installment. We want to know - do you want a fourth Bourne?

Other: I've never seen any, so it wouldn't matter to me either way if they did more.
I do tend to think that doing more than 3 or 4 movies in a series gets old, though.
1I've never seen the Bourne series, so I'm pretty much indifferent to that.
2Yes ! i love them .
3Matty
Ooo i should buy the book and get reading !!
4Absolutely. I love the Bourne movies, and they haven't given us any reason to believe that they'd drop the ball on another installment.
5it doesnt matter.
6as long as theres more MATT
Other...as long as Matt is there I don't mind. I really enjoyed all 3 so far so they have a good thing going. One more would be good...but after that, not so much.
7I'd watch #4. I'm not even a big action movie fan but the Bourne series is good. Hooray for Matt too.
8As long as Matt is still in it i`m good
9I had to say "Maybe". I really would like to see more Bourne but if it's not Matt, then don't bother. Sequels aren't as good when the main actor changes. Such as "XXX" sequel, "The Fast & the Furious" sequels & "Speed 2" to name a few. Mmmm...can't wait to see some more Vin Diesel. ((Oops, I'm drooling, LMAO))
10no morrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
11It would be nice to see him get a happy ending!
12There are two other books that were written after the author of the original trilogy died. If they make another movie it'll be another example of Hollywood saying "Look, there's a dead horse, let's kick it and see how much money we can get out of it!"
I enjoyed the Bourne Ultimatum, I'd like other movies LIKE it and I'd like other movies with Matt Damon, but no more Bourne, please.
13Ehm, no. Tha last one is called The Bourne ULTIMATUM. What kind of name would the fourth one have? "Bourne: Even More of An Ultimatum"? You stop at your top.
14umm i dont think any movie should go past a part 2
15I dont know, i havnt seen the third one yet lol. its good but i dont think they should go ott on it, if they do a 4th they may as well do a 7th and 8th.
16I love Matt Damon and the Bourne series but no more. There are only three books and therefore should only be three movies. Even Matt has said in interviews that the Bourne saga has reached its end.
17Well, it's sort of like Pirates without Johnny Depp, it won't work without Matt. And there is going to be a 4th Pirates which I don't mind but I think that one should end with 4 too.
Only Harry Potter can get away with 7
18No, a trilogy is a trilogy and I'm often left wishing that Hollywood would learn how to stop while the going is good and leave behind a quality, finished package rather than trying to cash in by adding on sequel after sequel. This has been a good story, well told and they should leave it at that. Star Wars anyone?
19Pirates I think would be pushing it with a 4th. I mean, I'd see it and all, but I have a feeling it would be a huge letdown.
I definitely wouldn't want it to include anymore Will and Elizabeth.
20I think three is enough.
21Lord of the Rings is another example..3 was perfect.
Yeah, Pirates 3 wasn't as good as 1 & 2...I hope they make up for it.
22If Matt doesn't want to do another one, then they should stop. It wouldn't be the same without him.
23for those who haven't seen the 3rd one yet... SPOILER ALERT!!!!
how can you have a fourth bourne movie, when he is no longer jason bourne? it's done, it's ended. he knows everything and now all there is left is for him to live his normal life. and david webb living his normal life would be a bit of a let down from the last AWESOME three movies.
24Actually this reminds me of an interview I saw with Dominic Monaghan where he basically admitted that Lost made absolutely no sense because it was written to be a two season show, only mid-way through the first season when the network saw how well it was doing they suddenly wanted to drag it out to five seasons, so they basically had to wing it and make up a whole middle bit that would last for three seasons before the story came to it's natural, planned conclusion. That put me right off watching the damn thing and I haven't watched it since!
25The thing with Star Wars, though, is that it was always meant to be 6 stories. It wasn't a trilogy that they expanded because it became a hit. And I think leaving so much time between the two sets of movies was a GREAT idea.
I'm not a big Star Wars fan, but I think that overall it's an above-average field of work.
26How can there not be a fourth movie? There is a fourth book called, "The Bourne Legacy". I just started reading it the day after I saw the Bourne Ultimatum. The thing is the books were out before the films. If you read the book, you will see that there can be another film.
27Yeah, I guess you're right in that, as far as George Lucas was concerned it was always intended to be a six parter, but the first three movies (as in parts 4, 5 and 6), standing alone, are an awesome trilogy, and for me parts 1, 2 and 3 couldn't have sucked any harder and they really spoiled the whole package.
28The one thing they left hanging in #3 (which bugged me) is that Julia Stiles' character said that something happened between her and Bourne in the past (he of course couldn't remember that bc of the amnesia), but that was never explored. Being the romantic nut that I am, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED! lol
29Yes I would see it if they made another one but... only on two conditions... one, I want him to have a hotter love interest, and two, he cannot die at the end!
30I think the shouldn't make a 4th film since this was only a 3 film series. Who knows? I might change that opinion once I see this current film.
31Yeah, it's true there is a 4th book but it wasn't written by Robert Ludlum (he died in 2001), it's another author that picked up where he left off, and then there's book 5, The Bourne Betrayal. Matt will be beating people up with his cane
32I sincerely dislike when other authors pick up existing stories.
The sequel to Gone With the Wind suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked.
33No kidding, Greggie! It was awful! That's why it was only a made for TV movie. Ugh, Scarlett was weird and Rhett was ugly and creepy!
34Greggie...Yes! I saw the movie Scarlett too and it sucked big time!! I think Scarlett was played by Val Kilmer's ex wife, I forget her name. Wish I could forget that movie so easily.
Yeah, he got the permission from Ludlum's estate but still, it's not the same. Hopefully they won't do that, and just stick with the original trilogy. So I'm changing my answer to NO! LOL!
35That would be like making another Star Wars because they were successful.
36NO! It ended perfetly!
Honestly, I've only watched the second one. I was confused the whole time, obviously, and didn't care to see the other ones. Maybe I'll give it another try though..
37he is a HOT
38he is a HOT
39No, why risk a failure. They were written as three, so don't try to add to it! Thats a set-up for failure!
40I thought it was confirmed to Access Hollywood or Extra, that there is going to be a fourth film?
41Well, the movies weren't made exactly like the books so I guess they can deviate from the trilogy. I don't know. I suggest reading the books (the first 3 by Ludlum), they were really good
42Leave it Be
43I want to know what exactly was going on between Bourne and Nicky that they hinted at in the 3rd movie. Bring on the 4th!!
44I didn't care for any of the Bourne movies.
45Yes! I love watching these movies with my BF
46yah only if Matt is in it heh
47He is soooo much hotter in the role of Jason Bourne; he's so bad-ass!
48Although I loved all 3 - I think to do anymore than that would be tempting fate. Matt Damon won't have any shortage of offers these days so I'm sure we'll see him in something else fantastic soon.
49Just NO
this movie should'v neve had a 1rst part,
haha
