The Bachelor will be back in September, and ABC has just revealed their new man of the hour. Brad Womack, a 34-year-old bar owner from Texas, will star in the 11th season of the show. We can't believe this reality show is still on but it clearly attracts an audience. So tell us, will you watch the new season of the The Bachelor?

1No, I watched the bachelorette and that was enough, at least that one ended with a real marriage and a baby. This is getting beyond ridiculous. Retire this show already.

5I think this is the dumbest show ever. what kind of love do you think you are going to find on a reality tv show? why would any self respecting female (or male in the case of the bachelorette) put themselves through that? Unless you're cool with your love interest making out with several other dates at the same time. and possibly ditching you for someone else on national television.

10This is what makes me mad about the bachelor. Not once have they had any bachelors, that were a minority!!! I don't understand it. There's something wrong with that.
11The last Bachelor I watched was with that guy who was from Canada, and played for, I think, the NE Patriots...I think his name was Jesse. He's now an announcer or something. It was lame.
12Sometimes there good sometimes there not so good. . . I loved the last bachelor but some of the girls were just totally crazy.
13it's not the dreaminess of the guy the makes me watch but the catiness, craziness, and at points the drunkeness of the girls that is, even 11 seasons in, totally addicting!
14no kidding pennylane! my girlfriends were emailing back and forth about him yesterday, and saying stuff like "where was he when I..." whatever. You know, he was clearly never up and about in the day time.
15I've never been into this show. This particular dude looks like a tool. A narcissistic, obnoxious one, on top of it. Ummm, let's see...you're pushing 40, you own a bar and you can't meet a girl to marry? Maybe because you're a womanizing alcoholic? Just a guess....

19the only season i watched of the bachelor was the first one. i saw a couple episodes of the others (and about 1/2 of the season of charlie o'connell) but it starts to get boring and then i don't care.
now, rock of love, that's a show i'll watch!

40I will watch it, not because I think this guy looks dreamy or because I think the show is fantastic. I know the show is a little much and the girls get catty, but its a tradition for my mom to come over every Monday night and watch it with me. Its kind of our mother-daughter time - a little guilty pleasure. Usually we look at eachother during the show and say "why are we watching this?" but we still do because it gives us an excuse to get together.
This guy does look kinda weird. huh - maybe its just a bad shot.
