Universal Studios has placed a massive Bourne Ultimatum billboard on the side of a building in NYC which just happens to be where Matt Damon lives with lucky Luciana. We love to see Matt anywhere and everywhere, but wonder if the studio went too far with the idea that Bourne comes home, literally. What do you think? Was this too much information for the studio to divulge?

I think it's a bit much...I wouldn't be happy if I was him.
yay first vote! and comment?
I think he agreed to that.They wouldn't put smth like this if he disappoves;
Hm..
Honestly, I loooved the idea of "Bourne Comes Home" and everything, but I bet he is not happy with it!
If he didn't approve: it's awful. Give the guy a break. The studios are already making millions because of him. They don't need to do this to someone they're living off.
If he did approve, well... you can't really say anything about it.
Is that really where he lives?? Looks... dumpy.
What a terrible thing to do. I hope he sues their ass!
Eh... You make millions, and it's not just for the film. Your job is to promote, and if you can't handle it, you go and get another job.
i have to wonder how he feels about that. surely he okay'd that right? goodness gracious.
I dunno what his reactions will be. The movie was good.
i don't think it looks dumpy at all. I'd surely trade my apt in Queens for that.
He does seem really private. I cannot imagine him being happy about it. He is reallllllly private about his personal life.
LOL thats crazy!
i'm sure it was planned by all parties involved
wow...a little way tooo much.
if he's comfortable with it--then
whatever, it's his life.
I thought that when I read it. Nobody needs to know where he lives. THat is invasive
I guess he'll be selling this apartment soon....why did they have to say it was on his building?? I'm sure he didn't sign up for that part of it!!!!
lmao this is wayy too much!
yeah that's kinda weird... i think even matt is thinking "um... woah."
That does seem like a bit much.
I'm not so sure I believe it...
he must have agreed lol im sure he must of had some sort of say!
If people didn't know it already, they certainly do since you announced it. I don't read Splash...so I didn't know until I saw this.
Is this the only billboard in NYC? Are there many and this one happens to be on his building? I find it really strange that it would be a coincidence but even stranger that anyone would want this type of publicity.
something tells me George Clooney is behind this one... lol
I don't think they would do that if he didn't agree to it.They knew that is where he lives so I don't think they would just do it without him agreeing to it.
I don't know what neighborhood that is....but I walked from Chelsea to midtown on 7th yesterday and didn't see any.
I think it's a little much, but only because this site mentioned that he lives there...if I had seen this I never would have known...
Well, I thought they lived in Miami?!
Umm, I would have not known that there lived there until you said it.
exactly, I wouldn't have known.. but Popsugar just spilled the beans for me.. I'm a bit disappointed
I would never have known had I not read it here...so I don't think it was such a good idea posting about it. JMHO.
There are billboards plastered ALL over NYC. I wouldn't have known that was where he lived... until it was mentioned here. However, a lot of stars do live in NYC and people know where they live. But I think most New Yorkers are a bit jaded if they're around all the time.
At first I thought it was a random building so I didn't think anything of it. Now that I know it's where he lives, I feel bad for him. He's so private so that sucks on his part. Hopefully next time people think of promotions they'll think harder
The billboard is not the problem. There are hundreds of billboards all over the city, quite a few of them on residential buildings which celebrities may live in. I had no idea where Matt Damon lives, but now thanks to Popsugar and other gossip websites I can track down the building this weekend.
Sometimes celeb website need to use better judgement on posting stories like this as you make something that would have been otherwise un-noticed now a problem which could become dangerous not only for him but his family as well.
Unless you guys don't have tvs, radios, or read newspapers, this website hasn't let out any big secret. This has been discussed everywhere. I first heard about it on CNN.
But I have to say I'm surprised to see Matt living in a building that sells billboard space and doesn't have central air. That must be a NYC thing because I never see billboards or air conditioners hanging out of windows of expensive apartment buildings.
thats kind of embarassing
It was a coincidence. The studio has promoted other films in that space before.
It wouldn't have been so bad if everyone on the internet didn't now know it was where he lived. If it's even true. Maybe he doesn't really live there.
Oh dear, Matty can't be too happy with that...
That doesn't look like a too swell building.
I voted yes.
was that deliberate? seems like that is such an obviously BAD choice that it would have to have been done by a division of the studio that has no idea where he lives.
ha! that's funny. did somebody do that on purpose?
ha! that's funny. did somebody do that on purpose?
monie, just because you don't see air conditioners hanging out of windows doesn't mean they don't exist. Central air conditioning units are often times on the rooftop or behind the buildings on the ground. Really now...come on. Window units actually SUCK and are not very effective at cooling someone's home.
Thats not nice to put it really on the building he lives in! Guess he'll have to move in with me
I think it's a clever. It's not as though people in NYC didn't know where he lives, and doormen are there to keep strangers out of buildings.
It's funny, but that would piss me off if I was him. I wouldn't want everyone to know where I lived if I was a a celebrity.
i said maybe because how many people were aware that matt lived in that building before you brought it to our attention? if i were walking down the street, i'd have just thought it was an ad on a building. i never would have considered that matt actually lived there.
Thats where he lives? It doesn't look like a building where a star like him would be living.
