Kirsten Dunst wore all black and a smile as she left the NYC Supreme Court yesterday afternoon. She took the stand to testify about being robbed in 2007, when thieves stole personal items from her hotel room while she was in the city filming How to Lose Friends and Alienate People. Her costar Simon Pegg was also in the courtroom to give a statement about his iPod and digital camera being taken, but the jury's still out as to whether he and Kirsten will see their alleged burglars face justice.

3i completely forgot about that one - i hope that things get settled for her and that at least she gets some type of compensation. at this point i'm sure that she doesn't care that the things are gone since it's almost 2010 but any retribution would be a good thing

6Anon, the court names are screwy/misleading in NY, and NYC specifically. The NYC Supreme Court, despite its name, is actually at the bottom of the pyramid - where various criminal/civil cases are first heard. To the extent that the STATE is prosecuting suspects in the case, as the article suggests, this is where the case would be heard. Of course the NYC prosecutors would put the victims on the stand.
I don't really care either way, but as a lawyer felt compelled to point this out.
