Hollywood continues to do its part to fight poverty and AIDS in Africa. Now a bunch of celebrities including Matt Damon, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and Don Cheadle have all gotten together for a PSA to encourage people to vote. Check out the ad below and here's more about their latest cause:
The stars recently filmed a public service announcement that shows them patiently waiting their turn at a voting booth....But they're not promoting a candidate or political party. The ad is an effort to raise support for ONE: The Campaign to Make Poverty History.
"This is a first step in a long-term effort to start making the fight against global AIDS and extreme poverty part of the election conversation, and Americans can be part of that by joining ONE.org," Matt Damon says of the spot, which is slated to run through Nov. 7's Election Day.
"Saving lives in the world's poorest countries. Winning the fight against global AIDS and extreme poverty," Damon says in the spot. "There aren't two sides to these issues. There is only one. Please vote. ONE.org."
I can't remember the last time so many celebrities got behind a cause. What's next? A cover of "We Are The World?" It seems that it's a worthy enough cause to warrant a supergroup of popstars and an inspirational song.

7Where's my darling Brad?????
8I liked it- a lot of celebrity power but it didn't have to be glamorous or pretentious to make their point.
9Georgie is the man!
Tom Brady is in that clip.
10Looks like Toby Keith is in it too.
11My new favorite commercial.
12i understand about wanting to help others who are less fortunate, but what about the people here???? i live in michigan and i know a lot of people who have been out of work, are or have lost their homes, and plenty without insurance. i think we need to fix what's wrong here before we help others. but i do think it's great that celebs use thier star power to help others in need, but i just wish someone could help up here...
