SJP will be trick or treating for the children this year. The fashionista is a big supporter of UNICEF as well as their Ambassador, and she reveals it's actually one of her oldest childhood memories. We all know little James Wilke is very special to SJP, so it makes sense that she's passionate about a charity that saves children's lives. We also love that she matched her pretty blue dress to the UNICEF colors. Here's more:
"I am not making this up. My oldest memory is trick-or-treating with UNICEF," she said to ABC's Diane Sawyer. "What UNICEF does is it goes to the children that are most in peril, countries with man-made and nature-made crises, and changes lives," Parker said.
Parker will be trick-or-treating with him on Tuesday, but she won't be in costume. "I haven't for years. I just can't abide it. I'm so old," she said. "I'm so happy to walk around with these UNICEF boxes and with my son and try to go monitor his candy."

2I might get slammed for this, but I absolutely hated doing the Unicef collection while trick or treating. People were never prepared, and you had to stand and wait for them to get their purse, or whatever, and it took forever. Other kids came in behind you and then theres a big traffic jam in the doorway, because now they are waiting for the person to come back too.
Do your kids a favour and tell family friends and neighbours to have a bowl of change by the door too, because its a good cause and a good way to get canvassing done.

Radarkitty, its the worst, you have to carry that little box around, and your bag, and then ask people Do you want to give to Unicef too? And then they go what? Huh? Oh yes dear, let me go get my purse, -.- not fun for a kid trick or treating. I heard some people said they just had them throw it into the T or T bags and sort later, but that only works if people are prepared to begin with.
