LC Joins Her Hills Girls in Real Life, Not on Screen
Lauren Conrad went to Mi-6 in LA last night to celebrate Lo Bosworth's 23rd birthday, while the first post-LC episode of The Hills aired. Elsewhere in the city, new narrator Kristin Cavallari arrived at a Unite fashion event. Most of you didn't think Kristin would liven things up, but she dove right into the drama on the show by fighting Audrina over Justin Bobby. Meanwhile, Spencer aggressively put a down payment on a house without Heidi's consent. There was also the usual dose of beauty, food, gadgets, and style as the cameras rolled on the well-paid stars. Meanwhile, Lauren's doing great as she moves on — her LA Candy was picked up for a movie deal, just as she hinted to us earlier this month.

i couldn't believe how fake the episode looked last night. it all seemed so acted out and scripted, and badly acted at that.
1they always have such big birthday celebrations in their group huh? as for last night's episode - it was nothing that we didn't expect already - so i'm not at all surprised on how things turned out. as for spencer/heidi - he did exactly what we all thought he would and well that just makes for the hills being expected ya know?

4Yeah..I think LC made the right decision by leaving when it was still watchable. I gave the first episode the benefit of the doubt but I think its dunzo for me.
5I am so disgusted by this whole concept, how these people get paid crazy amounts of money to fake their lives on screen. And on top of that they get job offers that real TALANTED people could only dream about. You know, Lauren don't write her books herself, right? You know that that "book" has already been on screen, it's called THE HILLS and it's just as fake as the movie is going to be.
6A movie? That's funny. It's a tv show, that was made into a book, which will be made into a movie? I'm trying to figure out where it will go from there...

11What I find funny is that Kristin's goal to be a real actress, but as someone who works in the industry, I know for a fact that none of the producers I work with would ever consider hiring her, and especially now that she is coming off as a diva b*tch. I was in a meeting the other day when the studio suggested her because she's marketable, and the producer and the A list director said they would rather hire Lindsey Lohan, because if they have to deal with a b*tchy diva at least Lindsey has the ability to act.
12It doesn't bother me how much money they make. I would want HUGE compensation for having a camera stuck in my face and life 24/7! And this has been going on since some were only 17? The novelty has worn off and would get pretty annoying! No privacy, my every move watched photographed and gossiped about would equal BIG BUCKS for me!!
