I don't recall her ever looking like that, even when she was a teenager. Sadly, in her deluded mind, she probably thinks she looks like this now. But even with all the airbrushing, this is not a very pretty woman.

I just finished getting Life&Style and I was shocked how Britney referenced her cigarettes as her "lollipops"(which the kids refer to aswell) and how she curses around them like crazy..........wow.

this annoys me. what good does it do for allure to make her look like a normal person when she's obviously a psycho?? how is this any different than the tabs? let's get the girl some properly fitting clothes, THEN maybe I won't be so irritated by her presence in the media.

Every single celebrity is pretty much airbrushed in magazines, so I don't really find anything wrong with this. I love the results! Britney looks so good here!

Nothing new here. Everyone's airbrushed. I'm glad many of us aren't fooled by all the fakeness.

It seems all her pictures are photoshopped to the extreme these days.

Photoshoping is ok, but I think she looks good these days,and these photos are fine too. She loves her kids, she is talented and thats the main thing.Not some fotos from the magazine..

It's sad that it's so obvious. Even I could look like Heidi Klum when photo-shopped. The possibilities are H-U-G-E. God thank for that. Amen. But what does it prove? That Brit is too ugly to be herself in a magazine cover?

You know, I went to see some old magazine-shots of Britney... from the good ol' days. It was so overwhelming how beautiful she used to look. And that popped up a question in my head. Is it all a big scam? Is the paparazzi on a mission of truth? Should we be thankful to them who are kind enough to let us know we all are just human with our flaws?

wow she does look younger here! and i know she has toned up some but they so made her look skinnier and more toned in the stomache then she really is.

i read sumthing bout psychology an there was a chapter that explained body language. 1 of it wuz holding the neck (like britney) it means that she is offended, scared or protecting herself from sumthing or sumeone.
imo she's just a troubled scared little lost girl.

I remember watching Alias and thinking that the wigs were always so well done - britney should hook up with those hairstylists, or even beyonce's peeps!

Well, she was very pretty as a teenager and she's just nasty now. They should've saved themselves some major bucks and just used old pictures.

I don't think anyone here doubts magazines airbrush and photoshop to enhance, but this is so extreme that it barely looks like her.

I don't think she looks young at all. Her face is drawn and the look in her eye is anguished. I am surprised at how much people talk badly about her body, because she is in far better shape than most women I know (especially with kids) and many starlets (Mandy Moore, Christina A., Micha B to name a few). I think the most surprising thing about this photoshop is how much they thinned her out. But that's to keep all of us women worried about getting bigger than a size 6.

Ew it bugs me when people are completely airbrushed. Ew that isn't even her, she is too ugly to have her "real" face and bod. posted. She's not cute, nor is she worth reading about in a well known magazine.

And the photoshopping award of the year goes to Allure magazine, they took a 2 cent wh*re and turned into a $10 a night prostitute.

What a stupid move on Allure's part. Whoever suggested Brit as the September cover should be fired immediately.

this is more than airbrushed. entire sections of her body are missing.

This is so fake, it's only one baby step removed from a completely virtual celebrity. With a few more tech developments, we could have singers and actresses without all the drama. I'm beginning to think that might be a good thing.

Also, even though this is not "real" news, IMO it's something of an ethical violation for the magazine, to go so far beyond a little airbrushing.

This is an example of Photoshop at its best! I will not buy this magazine. I feel it is really wrong for the magazines to go this far with the airbrushing.
