We already had one peek at Kristen Stewart's gorgeous spread in the upcoming issue of Interview, and now there are even more photos and an excerpt from her chat with Dennis Hopper. She opened up to the actor about what her life is like being surrounded by all the Twilight mania, as well as recently receiving her high school diploma — with honors. Here's more:
- On just getting her high school degree: "I went to public school up until junior high. I know it’s a little late and I’m a little old, but I just finished high school—with honors. The other day I was doing a graduation scene on Eclipse, and I had just finished high school myself the week before, so I told the crew, “Hey, just so you know, I’m actually graduating right now, and I’m not going to have another ceremony.” So I took a mock picture with an extra. I literally asked the actor to come back and shake my hand and hand me the diploma while I was dressed in a cap and gown."
- On getting lots of attention: "Yeah, it’s weird. There’s an idea about who I am that’s eternally projected onto me, and then I almost feel like I have to fulfill that role. Even when things come out of my mouth, I want to be sure I’m saying exactly what I mean. All I’m thinking of is the fact that everything that I say is going to be criticized — not criticized, just evaluated and analyzed. And it’s always something that matters so much to me that doesn’t come out right. But in terms of how my life has changed, I never really went out a whole lot before. I’m sort of an in-my-head kind of person. I wish I could take more walks . ."
- On spending lots of time in her hotel: "That said, the only way for me not to have somebody know where I went the night before is if I didn’t go out at all. So that’s what I’m trading. It depends what mood I’m in. Some nights, I think, “You know what? I don’t care. I’m just going to do what I want to do.” Then the next day I think, “Ugh. Now everyone thinks I’m going out to get the attention.” But it’s like, no, I actually, for a second, thought that maybe I could be like a normal person."

14You know what's funny about people saying she won't have a career after Twilight? She had one before, sure the level of fame wasn't at the height that is now, but she has worked with amazing actors and directors before. People and Twitards that didn't know her before only think she has Twilight going for her, but she is so much more than that. Whether her or Robert are dating I don't really care, I'm a fan of hers for how amazing she seems to be. She's such a breath of fresh air in a business that's all about being fake.

29I am going to assume she and Rob Pattinson are spending a lot of that "hiding away in a hotel room" together, as neither of them can step out of their hotel room these days. And they have been almost non-existent for the last two weeks. If you have to spend all your time in a hotel room, which sucks, you might as well do that with your "friend."
30These photos look fantastic! And good for her for finishing high school. I can just imagine that picture being framed on her parents' mantle!
31I think there is a difference between being private and being mean to the public. I love her and think she is amazingly talented. As Rob has said shes the best actress of our generation and I honestly believe that; especially with films like The Cake Eaters. However her persistent 'screw you' attitude is a real put off. I know she doesn't think she needs to cater to the mass population like a pop star or a romantic comedy actress does but at the same time, Kristen's main attribute is that she is like a normal girl and she plays roles, apart from Bella, that are direct correlations between people her age that are out of the business and herself. She is obviously trying to connect with people through the material that she selects to portray so I cannot understand why should would not want to seem the least bit approachable in the role of herself; which in the grand scheme of life is the most important role that anyone will ever play. I don't really think she is such a hard-ass or a mean person; I think it is her ploy to make dealing with fame a lot easier but I really wish she could figure out a different way. She's so lovely when she smiles; wish she did it a lot more.

you know i don't understand the hate against this girl. she's still young and her comments get twisted such as perez hilton and other haters out there because she's not like other actress who's outgoing. kristen is her own person and isn't a product of hollywood. is it wrong that she doesn't want to be a product of hollywood but just be herself? being in hollywood i'm sure you start to lose identity and create a new one for people who thinks what celebrities should be. this girl is grounded and she should stay that way.
