Slow Cooker Tex-Mex Turkey Wraps

Aug 16 2007 - 11:30am

One of the great things about a slow cooker (or crock pot, as it's sometimes called), is that it's a versatile kitchen item. Everyone might not agree, but here's the thing: a slow cooker can be used to feed two, a family, or even a crowd.

Add that fact to the simplicity of using it and is it any wonder that I love mine so much? This recipe is perfect if you're planning an informal party and wondering what to serve the crowd. Just throw it all together in the afternoon and serve in the evening!

Feel free to add any other condiments and wrap items that you think your guests would like. Tomatoes and sour cream come immediately to mind, but I'm sure you could come up with more!
