Jared Leto lived up to his creepy rocker alter-ego Wednesday night at the MtvU Woodie awards. Rumors have been flying that Jared started a fight with Elijah Wood and freaked out on Scott from Stereogum as well. We don't know why Jared went off on Elijah (maybe he stole Jared's eyeliner), but he was evidently being friendly with Stereogum until he realized he was a blogger. Here's the rundown of what happened:
- After spotting Jared in the VIP section last night, Stereogum grabs some footage of himself boldly inquiring about Leto’s stated hatred of blogs.
- Jared, perhaps having made the realization he’s actually among the blog scum he so loathes, firmly grabs Stereogum’s arm and begins loudly expressing his displeasure with the question.
- Sensing that the eyeliner-wearing rock goddess might be in danger, a nearby security monkey grabs Stereogum, erases all the data in his camera, and forcibly removes him from the entire venue, severly injuring his left ring finger - his BLOGGING FINGER - in the process.
Rock star fame does strange things to people. We suggest that Jared learn to embrace us bloggers since we are not going anywhere. Besides, we used to be a big fan of hot Jared and you all know we are one for huge comebacks.
