Gwyneth Paltrow looked gorgeous while in Chicago promoting, Pleasures Delight, the Estee Lauder perfume she models for. I'm definitely loving this curly hair more than the dramatically straight look she was rocking in the September W Magazine. Though I will say that dress makes me want to pull it up onto her shoulders to hide those (obviously intentional) bra straps. She's been the face of the scent for a few years now, but these days it feels like you can't actually call yourself a celebrity until you've released or modeled for a fragrance.

16It's funny how Gwynnie provokes such strong reactions! I absolutely love her, she's so gorgeous and charming, but my sister can't stand her!! She saw an interview with her at least ten years ago where G. complained about Birkenstock refusing her request for a pair of free pink sandals, and ever since my sister just thinks she's insufferable!

With the field of flowers and the puppy and the freckles and the long, blonde hair. I can't be sure, because it was so subtly done, but I think they were going for some kind of pure, wholesome vibe... and yet they picked this stuck-up arrogant b*tch to represent it. Yuck... the whole thing, just yuck!

28Incredibly over-rated, in both talent & looks (average at best for both). She comes across horribly in interviews, pretentious & snobbish.
29I saw her at Live 8 with her daughter and she was relaxed and smiley and really happy to chat to everyone around her. She wasn't even remotely snobby or pretentious with anyone. She was also very pretty without needing fancy clothes or lots of make up. Very naturally attractive. As for looking 'old', all I can say is I hope I look as good in my mid 30's after two kids!
All this irrational hatred towards her is simply down to bad press, most of which is made-up or over-exaggerated. The media paint her out to be moody and difficult but she's just keeps her private life private and the media don't like it. People should give her a break.

She's ok I suppose. I used to be a big fan, but I have to say that her bad press has kind of turned me the other way. Especially that story from a Portuguese newspaper when she was quoted as saying all Americans were uneducated louts or some such.
