Yesterday we told you that Jennifer Aniston had joined the cast of He's Just Not That Into You and now Scarlett has signed on as well. Now don't get us wrong - we love it when many of our favorite stars team up for a film, but this is starting to make us a bit nervous about the fate of the movie. What do you think - can too much star power ruin He's Just Not That Into You?

scarlette doesnt fit in the equation imo.....doesnt seem her kind of movie! if anything she will ruin it!
You know the saying......too many cooks spoil the broth!
But saying all that, i'd still check it out lol
1they're all very talented actors but it could be like the old saying - "too much of a good thing, can be a bad thing".
2or however it goes. lol.
but I'm still going to see it because I just love Jennifer Aniston!
ya i love Jenifer and Drew! they're the pulling power for the movie imo.....
3I sounds like it could be really good, but with too many stars, there might be too much pressure put on the film with various expectations, etc.
4@lilflowa
How can Scarlett ruin a movie, she just makes every movie!!! She's one of the most talented actresses of the moment! More than Jennifer Aniston (who does the 'Rachel' every time!)

5If anyone is going to ruin the movie it's Aniston. She's a mediocre actress at best, and everyone knows it.I'm not a huge fan of Drew or scarlett either so I probably won't be checking this film out anyway.
6I love both Drew and Jennifer. I for sure will go to the
7movie. The others are all good too. I am really looking
forward to it. They are all playing different parts so it
should be really good.
A lot of the cast are "celebs" and not really actors. They have attained a level of fame based on good casting or looks or likeability or a combination of all of these, rather than true talent. Seeing this many stars does make me leery of the movie. It will wind up being a matter of how good the script is along with how solid the casting is.
8When i sAId ruin the movie i meant ruin it in the sense that it doesnt seem her genre! The movie looks like a cutsie quirky kind of movie and i cant c her acting quirky.......I love her as an actress but i think this type of romance/comedy or whatever is more drew and Jenifer's genre! THATS ALL
And its my opinion..........
gEESH!!!
9I think it's too much of a big names in the film. Am i the only one who think it's time Aniston play a part that is not a loser in love or dating guys who are losers.
10I think it's weird to see scarlett and connolly in this film, they seem more like serious actresses.
11Oh and scarlett is alright, shes not that talented. She's not no Meryl Streep.
12i don't think too many stars will ruin a movie. just look at ocean's 11, smokin' aces...they were hits!
13Thank you Blondie3.....thats what i was trying to say! it doesnt seem their genre so much......
14Yah I think that Jennifer and Drew are good, but what are they thinking with connolly and Scarlett? that is a strange decision to choose them.
15No problem lilflowa.
16It hasn't seemed to hurt the Ocean's movies - more fun I say!
17Thats true I guess, I don't understand how they are going to pull this book off. The book isn't a story it's a tell how to book. So i guess they are just using the title and making a story.
18Oh ok, now i get what you're saying and i can only agree: connely and scarlett usually are not casted to do this type of movies but maybe it will bring the movie to a higher level
19maybe they will have them all as main characters and each have their own stories as we look into their lives? I havent read the book but i dont know how else they are goiing to incorporate everybody and give them all equal screen time?
Unless one person is the main charcter and the rest are relatives? lmao!....this is gonna b interesting...i wanna c how this turns out
20Umm yah if she can do comedy. Idk maybe she will show her funny side in the nanny diaries. Overall though she does more serious roles. With connolly I think she is bleh kind of personality, she is not funny what so ever. The only movie I liked of her was labrinth and she was like 18.
21I'm just biased I think because I think Jennifer isn't that great of an actress. She has the same type every movie and it's annoying. Also, true a big famous cast worked for Oceans. But Smokin Aces actually did pretty poorly. Also, look at Bobby. Same problem. I also feel like the cast all have different strong points, but I don't know how they could all fit together. We'll see. I see most movies, so I'm sure I'll see it when it comes out anyway
22I don't think scarlett is funny in any way. But back to the main question, I am more traditional and I like two or three headlining stars. But really it doesn't matter to me, I just won't go see it. Others seem like they might enjoy this cast!
23no, that doesnt ruin it... but i would like a little more man eye candy. No offense to Kevin Connolly but he doesnt really do it for me.
24No probs Maxinetje......ya mayb it will work out for the better
25me too, you should read the book its a short read. I mean there is one person in it that keeps writing and telling the writer off. This one girl shes like Brian (I forgot the writers name, but I think it's Brian) You don't know what your talking a/b, my boyfriend doesn't call me that much but it's b/c he's busy ok. Her boyfriend seems like a real jerk, but through the whole book she's like Brian my boyfriend does that but he's into me, you dont know anything lol.
26The only one I love
love
love
is Drew!
27Well Aniston is good at comedies, she has done a lot of roles where she is the girl that falls for the bad buys, which she prolly will in this movie too! but she is talented at them, better then serious roles. Oh and drew is great, I love her. She was soo cute in Music and Lyrics. It's the othe two that I'm not sure of.
28Lolz Blondie....It sounds interesting im a sucker for these types of movies lol..........who doesnnt love a good romance/comedy?
29Yah I like them too!!!!! They're my favorite.
30love actually had some great stars and it was a good movie!
31we will have to wait and see
Nope, bring on the star power! That's part of the reason why I loved Bobby, a great ensemble cast.
32I said Maybe. Never knows. I think Jennifer Connely can be really good in the movie, but Scarlett? She's just so annoying. And always make annoying movies. SHE is always the same. Just because she was nominated you guys think she's great. That's so wrong. But I can't judge her yet - I'll check it out first. Anyway, I don't think it's going to be a ROMANTIC comedy like, the boy falls in love with the girl, then they broke-up and then, in the end, he get her back. I think it's going to be a intelligent movie (just like almost Drew's movies, they have contest.) At least I'm hoping so badly. And more stars always means more fun!
33Its this simple more stars means you get to see who is the better actor and actress in them all...lets say hooray
34It should have one big female name and one big male name......ala "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days".
35I don't think so - It means that will be always the same romantic comedy. Just like I said. That's why people have a bit of prejudice about this kind of movies. And it's wrong. I love serious movies, action, fiction, suspense, drama but I do love romantic comedies, romaces and comedies, too. It's cinema, every genre can be great.
36i think theres too many big names. im still gonna check it out but i think everyone is just gonna cancel each other out.
37I hope it's a good movie -- the book was hilarious, and I love the concept (not to mention the great cast members)!
38I loved Aniston as "Rachel"...everything else...BORING!
39But, as far as too much star power being bad?.....No...look at Ocean's 11, 12 & 13....can't get enough of them!
Besides, too many big names never hurt the movies of Woody Allen or Robert Altman. Let's just hope this one is of the same high caliber.
40well my opinion is that many star can ruin the movie coz everyone will try to steal the spotlight from the other but at the same time it would be a great fun with all those stars but jennifer !! i don't like her much .
41I'm just amazed at all of the Aniston-hating on this website. She's a perfectly good actress -- I don't see why some of you are so hateful about her.
42Hopefully the script is smart and funny and this movie works out.
43Chiniston totally ruined this movie for me! Why does does she have to stick that big azz nonacting chin into EVERYTHING! She is a horrible actress! Without her the movie may have been a success but knowing she's gonna be in it takes it down a couple notches!
44meh i dunno. i'm only interested in seeing bradley cooper's role anyway lol.
45I say Maybe. Remember the star power in Crash....it think it would depend on the movie being made and not who's in it.
46There have been a lot of movies with "all star casts" that have turned out great. (not that I can think of one now!! lol)
47it didn't spoil oceans or pulp fiction
48I Love Jennifer Aniston she will be the only reason i will go see this movie.
49Bobby did horrible in theaters and I don't think you could get more stars in a film. Mona Lisa Smile didn't live up to expectations either (wikipedia page says 90 mil for production and marketing-it made 63 mil in the US.) A lot of stars in one movie doesn't always equal success. Oceans and The Departed did alright, but those movies are different than a romantic comedy, and they need a lot of actors. But I Heart Huckabees, Sin City, and Meet The Fockers did alright. I think it all depends on the writing, but I'm kind of scared they just want a lot of star power and the film will end up weak. How many storylines are there going to be?
