Jennifer Garner was looking pretty Gap classic in her white tank top and khaki skirt this weekend as she and Violet took a walk in LA. Violet was equipped with her trusty crocs and sippy cup for the adventure, and who knows where they were headed. The park? The zoo? The farmer's market? It may not be the most exciting stuff but at least we can always rely on these two to keep it cute with lots of kisses.

12It may be boring since they aren't doing anything, but it's sweet. It's no more boring than seeing Pitt walk into the airport or Paris pose with Adrian (ugh!).
I think they both look cute. This skirt and top are much better than the jeans and tees she normally wears (not that there's anything wrong with the jeans combo).
I love that she is such a doting mother and is always with little Violet.

17I don't see how anyone could write negative comments about these photos -- those of you who do need to seriously re-evaluate your values. It's SO wonderful to see a mother who loves her kid and who very clearly has so much fun spending time with her. Pics of Garner and Violet are a breath of fresh air after seeing all the other pics of trashy, wreckless, irresponsible celebs (hello Britney, Paris, Lindsay, Nicole, et al).
18oh_it's_me - there are many pics of Violet walking around when they are in the park, etc, but like people say about Brad and Angie and everyone else who carry their kids...would you really want your kid walking around when all the paps so close snapping pics? nope!

And to set the record straight: Violet is not a celebrity -- her mother is. You may not think she's cute, but is it really necessary to demean a child in a public forum? I happen to think it's incredibly low to do so.

34I'm all for watching the trainwrecks such as Brit and Linds emplode but it feel wrong to see pictures of Jen and Vi all over the place. I know it may seem hypocritical to say that. It's just that they are always out doing these really normal things and it just seems wrong to see pictures of them.
35Is it because the child hasn't made the choice to be in the spotlight? Because, if so, I can kinda see what you are saying, but, I say stuff all the time about celebs that I think are unattractive, and I don't get why it is ok to do it to celebs (who are people, too) but not ok with kids?? 36I like Jen and Violet. I like Jen because she seems like an everyday parent and not one of celeb status who always has the nanny taking care of the child. Someone said she looked frumpy. I say she is a mother and just dressing comfortable which is what most of us mothers do.
37Too many photo ops with this family. There is always a pic of a private family outing.
38I say stuff about celebs all the time, too -- but they're adults who have chosen a life in the spotlight and all of the good, bad and ugly things that come along with that life. Their children, however, are innocent, and I just don't see the point in ridiculing a 3-year old child because she's not as cute as other celebrity babies.
Now, if she grows up to be a Paris or a Britney, then all bets are off...

47I don't know, people rag on kids all the time in "real life" it's not because they have celeb parents. Seriously, saying a child is unattractive is nothing new.
You have a right to say and think Violet isn't cute. I don't wish death or anything, but it's not cruel to have this opinion. I don't think Garner is good looking either so like mother like daughter. They aren't ugly, just average and not that great looking.

49I totally agree that everyone is entitled to express their opinion, even when it comes to children. But, in my opinion, saying a kid isn't cute is a lot different than calling her "an ugly, squinty-eyed child." It just feels so mean-spirited to use those words about a 3-year-old kid.
