Brad and Angie are enjoying the scenery while taking a little vacation in India. Brad is loving learning more about new cultures but clearly has a lot to learn. He recently admitted to not realizing that other countries hate Americans. He had the pleasure of figuring this out while filming in Amsterdam for Ocean's 12. He said,

"I get a bike wherever I go and I went for a midnight ride around Amsterdam. There were some guys coming out of a bar having a good time. I said, 'Excuse me,' and swerved out of the way and they started screaming, 'You f**king American. We'll f**king kill you.' "I'd never come face to face with that before - that turn in the way we are perceived in other countries."

i hate brad.
1It's true, my little Canadian badge I had attached to my backpack while overseas drew quite the international respect, I had no idea.
2Yea, the rest of the world does hate us. They think we are all like our mentally challenged President
3the love/hate relationship with americans is pretty interesting. when i was an exchange student in nagasaki, everyone LOVED the americans...and then the election happened and bush was re-elected. there was a definite shift, strangers were no longer happy to see me. i got a lot more flack, as if i were personally responsible for it.
4wow what a shocker the world hates Americans! lol umm anywho damn I didnt relaize Angies tattoos covered almost all of her back!!
5don't like brad, but actually.. i do like our "mentally challenged" president
6Amsterdam rocks, Brad does not.
7Brad is THE SEX and Angie aint half bad either.
8I'm going to the UK soon and I'm very interested in finding out what people are going to have to say to me. I know there's going to be no way to avoid a political conversation or two.
9Sheeeew they look good here.
Look, screaming "I'll f*cking kill you" to anybody for any reason is just a wee bit crazy. I'm not sure its fair to believe that represents all Dutch.
10Yeah people think we are as stupid as the Pres. cause we re-elected him.
11Very true at least from my experiences of late. It's funny how the attitude has changed in a relatively short period of time. What he's saying is true, and especially in Europe. Amsterdam has always been one of my favorite places mainly because of how open and welcoming the people are, and they still are but theres a distinct change in their opinion in America and Americans, and France is next.
I wonder why ;/
12if you're nice and don't play "the ugly american" then i'm sure you'll be fine. people were fairly rude to me and i just acted polite back. you'll be respected and leave a good impression of your country. people aren't dumb, they know that a few bad apples don't represent everyone.
13Lonewolf, UK is closer to us in the sense that their PM helped things along if you know what I mean, and in a way, they from "my" experiences, don't judge us collectively. I go there pretty frequently just for 2-3 days and I can't say I've got that "go home" look like I have in Paris and Amsterdam.
14I love this couple.
Yeah..bush makes us all look bad, esp since he managed to get re-elected.
"Baby did a bad bad thing!"
15I just LOVE THIS COUPLE! They are truly right for one another, and they both have the same goals. Plus, they are both gorgeous! I never like BP with JA, but I JUST LOVE HIM WITH AJ, THEY ARE MORE RIGHT FOR EACH OTHER. I for one have to agree with Europe hating Americans, and I saw this while I was in Paris this past year. And why! All because of this idiot president that we have, I for one did NOT VOTE FOR HIM, AND IT JUST SEEMS LIKE RIGHT NOW THERE ARE TOOOOOOO MANY AMERICANS THAT ARE REALLY BLINDED WITH EVERYTHING THAT IS GOING ON; ESPECIALLY BY US. If the Republicans win again in November, then all I have to say, is that we are REALLY DOOMED! AND DOOMED BIG TIME! Currently, our country is a laughing stock! Sincerely!
16Gotta admit, Brad doesn't look real happy in these pictures.
17knicknack, how can you tell what his mood is? It looks like early am, he's disheveled, he's got on what looks like boxers and a tee, his hair is uncombed and it appears that some guy is explaining something to him.
18Oh man, when I went to Havana last year I was amazed at the Anti-American billboards... some with Bush's head and blood red X's and devil horns, truly amazing.
19i recently went to Amsterdam and they seemed to love Americans. Maybe he was driving crazy. It sounds like he did something to upset these people.
20Good a slap of reality for these people who fly in on private jets and stay at 6 star hotels. Can you imagine *GASP* Brad is not popular EVERYWHERE!!! When you pay your way through things and have yes men around you.. they actually start to believe the hype they are sold. or pay for!!
21Actually it sounds like Brad is not as educated on the world as they try to sell us!!!
Maybe Brad should have been a little more shocked when Angie's bodyguard Mickey grabbed a photographer around the neck and threatened to kill him for taking a picture.
22Ohsuri,
I don't think the comment was about his popularity, but about how Americans aren't liked abroad a lot of times. Anyone who's traveled can attest to this. He doesn't seem that into himself to me, but I guess we all interpret things differently.
I was on a train making my way to Amsterdam and I remember how were so anxious to talk to my sister and I about American politics. They couldn't believe Bush had been voted in for another term and they were begging us to get our country together. I was really interesting.
I don't think every country has a right to talk honestly. We got issues, but so do other countries and their politics are just as bad sometimes.
23It does seem a bit stupid of him to think that Americans are really that well-liked around the world. Guess he can be ignorant after all.

Don't tick me off. Or you'll get it.
Ok, so I guess its just me who thinks its a little out there to scream "We'll f*cking kill you" at a foreigner regardless of how much you dislike their political leaders...?
I can't imagine that if a group of Americans screamed "We'll f*cking kill you" at some Sudanese person walking down the street, regardless of how many people think President Bashir is a bad dude, that we'd all be nodding, well yep, what kind of dumbass didn't know what we think about Darfur?
25I guess a lot of Americans are stupid because they really don't think we are that disliked either. I venture to say they aren't stupid, but learning the real deal is shocking.
26Oh Jen, I'm with you.
27I don't think it's fair to shout I hate you to someone just because who our president is.
but I also don't agree that it's fair to hate America BECAUSE of our president. Nor do I believe that's it's fair to blame peoples hate against America on our president.
28Thanks. I was feeling a little lonely there.
I think we call that kind of thing "prejudice" around here. I'm not exactly sure why we condone it in other people...?
29We've been dubbed "cocky Americans" long before Bush was in office.
30I've heard the "Ugly American" thing as long as I can remember.
31Exactly, Jen.
32I mean, I know a lot of people don't like Bush and don't like America's foreign policies. But, I don't tolerate hating anybody for their beliefs or their nationality.
33I'm just a strong supporter of America, I guess.
34And I don't support hate AT ALL.
well i hate jen because she used to live in hawaii and not me...but it's a good hate, i swear!!!
35Ha ha ha!! So long as you don't want to f*cking kill me, we're cool. I guess.
36Nooooo!! No hate at all.
37Now jealousy is okay.
well there was this one time....NO NO NO!!! i love me some jenn
38♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
LMAO Layla! We need a green jealous smiley.
39
You're killing me atox. (Ha ha ha, get it?)
40darn-it...i was hoping you wouldn't notice that large butcher knife in your back *snap*
41We so need a jealousy smiley. The first place I'd put it is on that fine piece of Marc Jacob's coat on the look book!!
42Good lord, Brad...wake the fuçk up.
See, this is the very thing that I talk about on here, sometimes. Some of you might recall my comments about how judgemental people around the world are towards Americans...and the fact that it mostly stems from their belief that whatever actions/attitude Bush takes, it implies that all Americans feel the same way. It's so irritating, it does bug me and I'm Canadian!
Lumping all Americans together like that is the same exact thing as calling all Muslims terrorists. I wish people would learn to judge on a completely individual basis. If you meet ONE person and they turn out to be a total diçk, fine...see ONLY that person for what they are, don't assume everyone from the country in which he lives is a total diçk, as well.
Ugh. Irritating. I couldn't imagine coming on here and berating all the Yanks on the site. "You f-cking Americans, you're all (insert derogatory names here); get off of Popsugar!" My God, I would sooner sit on a bread knife than say such garbage.
43Yay Tor and her pukey pumpkin!
44Even little ole me knew we were hated by other countries *************************************************** Happiness is seeing that little girl in my avatar!
45bush is to blame for all the hatred for americans and the fact that the people re elected him was a shocker, but i believe it was rigged! Personally i dont blame americans for bush the puss's actions! Im coming to new york next year!! yipeee
46They are so beautiful...I love Angie's tattoos...

Well, we ( as Americans) do crash other peoples countries for no reason at all and start making demands , do you think we look bossy?
Sorry to say it, the president represents all of us. He is our voice, but unfortunatly, I do not like him and I think he is the worst president we have had in my lifetime.
Not all foreigners hate Americans, I have traveled all over Europe and the Carribean and I would say the only people that rubbed me the wrong way were in France.
I love Brad, he makes good use of his time.
48Both of them are great people.
49Everybody says that about the French, but when I went to Paris it was great. People loved us. If we were lost they would stop and give us directions (one guy even walked us all the way to our destination), they invited us over. I love Paris and will definitely go back. I also have a good friend from Toulouse now who I'm going to visit.
Madrid was the worst. Partied hard, but didn't care much for the people.
