Again, why is Suri wearing a sleeveless dress when everyone around her is wearing sweaters, scarves, etc? A blanket does not a jacket make.

I know! It's usually the other way around, parents make sure their kids are warm before themselves! Do they have aversions to jackets for Suri?

have you guys ever had any kids who run around alot? apparantly not. They get hot, they dont want jackets on, its not bad parenting to not put a jacket on a kid that doesnt want it.

Yes, CaterpillarGirl, I have a 5 year old kid who runs around a lot. I swear that even running like crazy she and her friends (same age) never get hot enough to wear a summer dress during cold weather. Or only something resembling rather small nightshirt. I go to the park with her quite often, and never seen such a thing, never seen kids dressed like that at that time of year.

um, there is something so off imo...can't put my finger on it...maybe her lack of clothes, the little heels...Tom's face..contract's almost up...who knows

If she doesn't want to wear a jacket while running around then she shouldn't be wearing summer clothes in the middle of October...in Boston.

I agree with comment #13.It does happen with kids all the time.

My 8 yr old actually does this occassioally when she's outdoors running around alot, and as long as it's not very cold outside and she's not in any danger of getting frostbite I will let it go.It certainly doesn't make me a loser at parenting and it doesn't mean that for them either.

I live in Cambridge. I was in Harvard Square on Saturday (they're at my favorite cupcake place!) It was way too cold for that flimsy little dress. If your kid doesn't like jackets, you do what every other responsible Boston parent does: put them in corduroys and a long-sleeved shirt.

Most of the time Suri isn't running around. She's just shopping or walking with Katie. So the "she's running around too much" doesn't make sense. Tom/Katie have said that Suri refuses to were jackets. Also she can talk. If she's too cold she will say something.

I think everyone is taking this sundress thing too seriously. In the pictures she has a sweater and a blanket. I'm guessing she probably took it off because she didn't want to wear it. I lived in Indiana as a child and ran around without a jacket all the time even when I was a bit cold because it got in my way. I don't think this is a reflection of Tom and Katie's parenting.

This poor child is never dressed for the weather.
The parenst are in appropriate clothes for the climate.
Not poor Suri.
Buy her some winter clothes for christ sakes.

It is beyond weird! Men in the background are wearing leather jackets and sweatshirts. I don't care how much running around she's done, there is no reason why she should be in a flimsy summer dress. She's no longer a baby...toss that damn blanket and get her some clothes! I'm not sure what they're trying to teach her but these people are embarrassing themselves.

She is adorable. I agree about her never being properly dressed. When she was younger they would always just wrap her in a blanket because she never liked to wear the long sleeves and pants etc. I too have a spoiled little girl who gets her way all the time and hates wearing pants and long sleeves I overcame that battle by bribing her and yes it works!

oh my god, look at how all the other people are dressed in the photos, of suri in the pink dress, in the background, they're all bundled up with jackets, and pants! i mean are they trying to kill her? i mean she has a little itty bitty dress on, her legs, and arms are not covered, and the parents are fully clothed! CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES, HELLLOOOOOOOOO? just because they're famous doesn't mean they're not crazy, or abusive.

Beautiful and happy family. Look we're all unique so stop preaching and comparing like some here are the perfect parents and perfect family. I have a niece and she finds a way to take off her socks,shoes and sweater even when I constantly monitor her.

Many pics show Katie with Suri's warm gears. Stop with the foul language(poster above me). Its like the world is coming to an end when this are not bad people.

The northeast is chilly this weekend--quite clearly fall weather and not summery at all. I agree dressing the child in normal appropriate clothes would seem the obvious no brainer choice if she has an aversion to coats/jackets.

Guess that wouldn't look as cute as the sleeveless dress for the paid photo ops maybe?

Brrrr, I live an hour from Boston and it was chilly this weekend. But kids, esp. girls at that age can be difficult to dress, as they have their own very firm opinions on what they want to put on. Still, I would have tried to compromised with her a bit., Maybe tights and a long sleeve shirt under the dress. Oh well, Suri will survive, I'm sure.

I cant help but find them so cute even when Im not a fan of them.Im also starting to sympathize for them having seen videos in youtube where people are watching them eat and some guys following Katie and Suri in the bathrooms and hotels and the bodyguards have to interfere. That is sick.

Suri reminds me of myself a lot in many ways and I turned out just fine.

Okay, Suri is really cute but get the kid a jacket or something. I'm from Boston- it's COLD in the fall. Every picture I see of Suri, she's in a cute dress but no coat. I have 2 kids and they run around and play with the proper attire. I hope there was some hot chocolate in that Starbucks cup.
