well i think that with the amount that she works and the 'modest' lifestyle that we see her living - it makes sense that she's rather bankable.

and say what you will about jen's movies/talent, but she does do the rom-com quite well and they usually do decently at the box office. no wonder she's bankable.

I think she does actually enjoy what she is doing. She
and Jason should do good in The Baster. Love Happens
was in a theater in our town so we drove about 120 miles
to see it. A lot of my friends didn't get to see it be
cause of that but I enjoyed it.

What is "modest" about a $15 million dollar 9,000 square foot home for one person and two dogs? The butler? The two personal chefs ? GMAFB!!

Jen's last two movies have bombed quite badly! "Management" didn't even make $1.5 million and cost over $20 million to make. The Forbes list didn't count it.

I seriously doubt that Jason Bateman was the draw for Couples Retreat. I think in general it was successful because it was a romantic-comedy with guy humor and Vince Vaughn. Jennifer doesn't have a lot of boxoffice hits unless she's the co-star of a big comedian. She usually stars in low/middle budget films that make nothing or 10-20 million in profit.

It's always good to Jennifer.She looks beautiful.

Aniston has stated in the past that her management team doesn't believe she can open a film on her own, therefore always needing a big name co-star or ensemble cast. Always thought she had a loyal fanbase, but the box office totals for the last two films imply otherwise. The economy is not good and think people are leery of spending $10-14 (depending on where you live) for a movie ticket to 1 and 2 star films, no matter how much they may personally support the actor. Either that or people are just getting tired of the same character over and over. Baster doesn't look much different from the formulaic romcoms, perhaps Bounty will do well. It seems a little different.

Well, we can bury forever that claptrap that Jen had something to do with the success of "The Break-Up"!

I went to the Break-Up because of Jen. Talk about being
the same, aren't Vince's about the same. His last four
movie have been the same character, always the goofy,
lazy, loud mouth. Sometimes he's funny but he is getting
old. The low budget movies don't usually make it to near
as many theaters so it hard to go to them. Rather than
drive miles we wait for dvd. I am looking forward to
the Bounty and Gorlee Girls but I think she and Jason
will be good in The Baster. He's a good actor. Lots of
even big budget movies haven't made it this year (look
at Bruce Willis's last one.

Bateman's comedy from Mike Judge bombed too. "The Baster" is just icky sounding. Maybe they should start to change the name -- like they did for Jen's last film -- twice.

I went to Love Happens and enjoyed it. It was actually
more of a drama than a comedy.

Aniston is a wonderful actress!she enjoys her roles.does she care that the movie gonna be a hit or bomb? management is one of her best movie,very well-acted.

Well I just adore Jen.. Love her style acting, sense of humor..and so down to earth.. What a lot of special family and friends in her life.
