Despite those rumors that Jessica and Cash were done for good, they were looking pretty cozy in the Pacific Palisades yesterday. In fact, they looked like a picture perfect couple as they enjoyed their long walk on the beach with their arms around each other. We had a feeling there was a chance these two would work it out but something still feels a bit off between them and more importantly, when did Alba start smoking? I see a box of Marlboros and don't remember Alba ever being a smoker. Did stress from their separation lead her to the bad habit? If so then let's hope they work it out and get healthy together.

32If you drink coffee all day it isn´t healthy either and so isn´t alcohol. Ultra light cigarettes aren´t that bad if you don´t smoke too much. Five cigarettes a day won´t hurt. If you have eaten they are good for your digestion, others take laxatives. Besides it´s relaxing and it isn´t as addictive as Xanax or Valium. Granted you should not smoke then 5 or 7 a day, but if you can reduce yourself to this amount. Why not?
33I somehow think when you are wheezing or you have the shakes and can't wiel a tool properly you won't think so. We had to see lungs ruined by tar and nicotine and the sludge that was collected, I vowed to never ever smoke after that and it the few times i tried it burned like hell
34I do not think that it's a big deal that she smokes. A lot of people do, including myself, it does not make us worse people than non-smokers, as many seem to perpetuate. It's a personal choice and no one has the right the judge you for it.
35There have been many studies on this and smoking 1-4 cigarettes a day is harmful and causes heart disease and lung cancer. I don't care if people smoke; my boyfriend smokes but it is ridiculous to say it's not bad for you. That being said of course it is a personal choice and does not make you a bad person. And it's not a big deal if Jessica Alba smokes I just wasn't aware of it.

38I don't know where Yoonyah is getting her information but the 1996 survey conducted by the US Surgeon General states that even with lower levels of nicotine and methane and tar, ultra-lite cigarettes are still as dangerous as regular cigarettes. I'm not contending that caffeine and laxatives are not as dangerous but any product that has the word "cigarette" attached to it is bad and unhealthy.

Nonetheless, like you and I both said, death by cigarette is a indeed a personal choice.
And I don't agree with smoking being the scapegoat of North American society's problems, as it seems to be becoming.
More on topic: it is interesting that Alba smokes, but not at all surprising. I have a feeling many celebrities do.
