Dolly Parton seems to think that she has a lot in common with another blonde from the south. Turns out she's a huge fan of Jessica's, and sees a lot of herself in Jess. And she's thrilled that Jess is planning to perform with her at Dollywood. Here's more:

Parton insists that too many people overlook her young pal's talent - just like they did her's when she was starting out. She adds, "All they see is this great-looking blonde girl, but she's got a great voice - and the heartache and pain to throw into songs."

10Did anyone see her hair extensions in person yet? The ones she is pimping out with Ken Paves that is. I was at a salon that sells them today and they actually looked really good in one of the stylists hair. Not that I would ever support her ass, but they did look cute none the less.

14Jessica- Stay Away from country music. Country music is very respected, because most of the artists have real talent. Talent that does not involve making ugly faces while you sing. Stay away from Dolly too. I really like her becuase she seems so sweet and down to earth. She also has not forgotten her East TN roots which I love becuase I am from East TN also. Stay away Jessica. This is fair warning. If you go to Dollywood I will be there to let you know that I do not like you.

Hopefully, Dolly has been paying attention and can help Jessica get out of this tailspin she is in now. I think that the self-made woman that Dolly is can help Jessica become a better woman. So, in short, I say: Go on Jessica, wail your heart out with Dolly. She'll crush your vocal skills for sure, but, hey, not everyone can say they sang with Dolly Parton, American Icon, at Dollywood.
19She had pain on a few songs like Underneath and You Don't Have To Let Go from the album In This Skin. They were written apparently when Nick & Jess had a break (pre-marriage) - they were together for years, had a break/break up, got back together after 9/11, got married...then they split up again. The songs were good, and really made me feel like she felt emotion for him and would never want her life without him in it again. Then they divorced. So, I don't understand the girl.

I am a Chattanoogan,(TN) we love and admire Dolly. I personally cannot believe that anyone, let alone Dolly, could ever take JS as a real performer but Dolly is a kind heart so I dont hold it against her. As for Jess, she is looking a little chunky in these pics and I am so tired of her tired self.

23Dolly played the dumb blonde back in the 60's, with Porter Waggoner, but she was loveable dumb, and it was obviously an act. Maybe Dolly is just being nice...maybe her record company is JSs' and they asked her to say nice things to help sales? Dunno, but I really hope this never happens!
