LL is very talented, beautiful and now a very rich 20 year old. Considering her upbringing, I'd say she's doing just fine. So she likes to party. So she likes men--who doesn't?? And if I had her money and talent, you bet I'd be living the high life!! I SAY GO FOR IT!!

Seriously, I cannot imagine a worse influence on an impressionable preteen than Lindsay Lohan. And poor girl, Ali is definitely not as pretty as her big sister. But as someone else said, that could turn out to be a blessing---the Hollywood vultures might just leave her alone. Honestly, the poor kid has the eyes and face of a 40 year old. She's had some very hard times, I think.

Ali may not look 'attractive' now, but remember, she's only 12. I look a lot different now than when I was 12, and so do most people I know. I think Lindsay's sister has an extremely interesting face and will grow into her looks. She's going to be striking -- much more so than Lindsay, who has always sort of had a very "regular girl" face.

My daughter just got her very first issue of Cosmo Girl - this one - and I'm super-disappointed in the publisher. Cosmo endorses Lindsay Lohan as a role model for younger girls? I'm really sorry that I purchased the subscription. Evidently even Cosmo will do anything to sell a magazine.

I'm not done. I'm sitting here stewing, thinking about how Cosmo -- a huge brand name -- compromised its credibility with this piece. Who's watching the store????

Joy, when has Cosmo ever had credibility? The adult version of that magazine is one of the most misogynistic publications out there, with its focus on using sex to keep a man around, how to stop a man from cheating, how to 'be a cool girlfriend' (I remember an article which advised women to point out a hot chick while you're out with your boyfriend and telling him that she was hot. I don't know what this accomplishes, other than humiliating yourself). I recommend TeenVOGUE or ElleGirl for teenagers -- they focus on the girls themselves rather than the male population (and how to attract them).

You're right -- but I think that Cosmo should -- or WOULD -- understand that its Cosmo GIRL brand needs to be in a different space than its "grown-up" title.
