The season premiere of The O.C. is just one day away! This year Rachel Bilson steps up to leading lady now that Mischa is gone. We can't wait to see what they have planned for Summer and the whole gang this season. Here's more:
The episode, titled “The Avengers,” finds the gang adjusting to life without Marissa’s smiling face, sweeps-season lesbianism and chair-in-the-pool-tossing ways. Without her rampant materialism as an influence, Summer has reinvented herself as a environmental activist (egad!), while Ryan is going back to his choker-wearing, bad-boy ways and Taylor finds refuge in the diner so no one will know that she’s not in Paris.
The real question is - will The O.C. be the same without Mischa Barton? What will Ryan do without her - oh right - he'll be some sort of cagefighter. We just want to see our favorite couple back on the small screen. If you absolutely can't wait until Thursday to find out, you can watch it now on myspace. Call us old fashioned but we appreciate season premiere nights so we're waiting - that means no spoilers in comments people.

I'll watch it to see how much it has gone downhill but I dont think it could ever regain my interest..
1im interested to see what happens and how the show will be without marissa, i refuse to believe this show was totally dependant on marissas character..
2Never saw a single episode and couldn't care less.... however, those polka dot shoes are super cute.
3But even with Marissa it still wasnt very good IMO
4loving the first outfit except the rubber leggings.
5she looks very skinny...has she lost a lot of weight??? I would not know as I don't want teen soaps like the OC
6I stopped watching when Marissa strated getted irritating (moreso than usual). Rachel so sweet though, but I agree JK she was a lot curvier in the first season.

10i actually saw the episode the other night ... alot of the torrent sites have it up already ... anyways ... its not a bad episode ... very sad ... but still interesting ... looks like the OC can continue without "marissa"
11I used to watch and loved it during seasons 1 and 2 but I think it really went a different direction last year and lost me. But look at Rachel! She is absolutely adorable, look at her teeny waist in the 4th picture!
12i've heard that the first four episodes are really, really good. i just wonder how it's going to do against gray's and csi...
13I watched the first episode online two days ago and it was AWESOME! I laughed and I cried. Summer is freaking awesome in this episode. I love Grey's Anatomy and I will continue to watch it every week during this time slot, but I am totally recording The O.C. on my DVR as well!

17I have less than no interest in this show...but Rachel is such a cutie & I have loved Adam Brody ever since he was on Gilmore Girls...(which I just realized I missed last night...damn)

20I watched the season premiere AND I'M SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!
There are a 2 reasons why I love(ed) the OC:
1. The boy/girl relationship storylines - e.g. Marissa/Ryan/Luke/Volchek/Johnny, Seth/Summer/Anna/Zac ... and Sadie & Lindsay etc etc)
2. & THE FASHION!!!!!!!! MARISSA & SUMMERs' wardrobes were always interesting..
Now BOTH reasons are totally dead. In Marissa's case - literally.
And SUMMER's A HIPPY! which equates to much the same thing
-all she's wearing these days are bogan tees & dirty looking jeans..... so sad...
Willa Holland (Kaitlyn) makes up for it a little - but no one can replace Mischa.

i watched it on ctv last night and all i'm gonan say
is watch it it's worth it it's so amazing it made me cry and theres been nothing but positive reviews so yah go to www.ctv.ca or www.youtube.com and type in the oc season four an dthere it is
