Brit Brit, never known for her incredible driving skills, was pulled over for speeding on her way to Vegas late last night. Naturally, she was let go with only a warning. No time to book the private jet? I guess when that Vegas feeling strikes, she's gotta go with it! Britney definitely spends a fair amount of time in Sin City these days, causing trouble and gearing up for that supposed VMA performance, but this time maybe she was trying to get away from some LA-based issues.
Apparently the SPCA paid a visit to the pop star's home yesterday after receiving calls saying that her new Yorkie puppy, London, broke his leg and wasn't getting proper care. Oh no! Broken puppies are the sadness! Hopefully the little guy's okay while his mommy books it to Vegas. As for what she'll get up to in the city? Something tells me we'll hear all about it soon enough.

12You're right "lemuse20". I don't think the other person should have had to find out who hit their car on TMZ website. I mean she stood outside the car and flaunted that she hit it. But she left it up to the photographers to get the info of who done it, to the other driver.

20ok, where did the pics actually come from?? Proves her point about the paparazzi being up her ass constantly. So what if she got a freakin speeding ticket. I have gotten 3 in my life, should I be locked up??? Nope! Speeding out of control endangering people is one thing, but they probably noticed her going 5-10mph over the speed limit(which everybody does), ran her plates and knew who she was so they decided to harass her some. And as for the paps, they could have found out about the call through a radio. I mean you can buy one of those and hear what the police are saying. And since the paps know Britneys car tag numbers, then it wasn't that hard to find out. The paps probably sit around listening for that stuff throughout the night, when they are not annoyingly following the celebs.

27trixie, no offense taken. I just know the police can and do get bored! I have a few police officer friends and they have admitted to pulling people over just for the heck of it. So, it does happen. I wasn't there so I have no idea. I just know I wouldn't want to be Britney for any amount of money!

34Another site reports that she didn't resume driving and one of her friends had to take the wheel when they got back on the road, so there could be more to the story. She didn't pullover on the freeway, police had to follow her a mile with lights and sirens flashing, then she got off the freeway and finally stopped in a gas station.
Maybe she was just anxious to get to Vegas before dawn, to resume "working" with Criss Angel.
35If someone else drove after she was pulled over then maybe Brit didn't have a license or had a license that was expired.

Oh my goodness 'Ginger' is that really true? Following her for that long with sirens flashing and she is still free. That is just one more thing that is ticking us off. If we got pulled for whatever she did, we would no get the opportunity to get into the passenger seat. You CANNOT drive a mile while the police are behind you with sirens and lights flashing, and then you are let go.
