Mom of the year???????? Is that a joke?

she's actually been a great mother to her kids if you think about it. she spends all her off time with them, she makes sure that they are happy and cared for - and she's not nearly as crazy as she used to be.

anyway, i'd be happy if they were back together - but since we don't really know - i'm not going to get too far ahead of myself

I admit she is not like she used to be and she does spend a lot of time with them but i don't know, mother of the year seemed a bit much

Hard to be mother of the year when you don't even have custody of your children. And does no one remember her driving the boys around without their seatbelts latched, with Sean on her lap on the freeway, Sean's milk-rot, the skull fracture that went unnoticed for a week, the visits by CPS? I am continually amazed at the passes this woman is given simply because she's famous.

She can not even take care of herself, let alone those boys. Do you really think she is the one hiring the nannies, heating up the mac and cheese and making sure they brush their teeth? Hell no. She did however arrange to drag them half way around the world so she could get a photo op in every city on her tour. She wears inappropriate clothing in front of them. She smokes and swears. Mother of the Year, my ass.

Well definately she has made errors regarding her own self and her kids but lets be honest, all mothers DO those mistakes, smoke in front of kids or are about to drop them or this and that. But to say she dresses wrong in front of her kids - man ! Thats hilarious! I would consider excessive make up that not a bikini or a tshirt...

And then lets be honest, who knows the real truth? What I can imagine is that paps are all over her always, she is always stressed, being dumped by an idiot that only wanted her money and took away her kids also ONLY for the money, trashed her in public and made it meltdown, almost gne crazy.
Just imagine getting divorced, finding out u;ve been used, losing your kids and having paps all over you....can we just give her a break?

Give the woman a break. Not like Angelina that is called great mum just because she is seen always holding her kids hands so tight but in fact she has done like what 3-4 movies last 2-3 years and she has at home 1 year old kids and 4 others?

The paps are her own fault. I mean, really, do the paps hang out at friggin' TARGET waiting for celebrities? NO. She called them and they were waiting when she got there. She dated a paparrazzi; let one in the freaking bathroom with her - at a Subway, nonetheless, which is a notorious celebrity hangout, right? She doesn't WANT them to go away. I thought that was pretty obvious after she opened the blinds at the beauty shop to make sure they got pics of her shaving her head. Same with Lohan. They're only there because they were called and they're hoping for the money-shot of a flipped out celeb.

As for Kevin "taking" the kids, do you know how hard it is for a mother to lose custody? He didn't take them; she GAVE them away with her behavior. Kevin has never trashed her in public, not once. He's never given a disparaging interview about her, even at the height of her insanity when he could have made a fortune off it.

Make the woman take some responsibility for her own actions, people. If it was Jane from next door, no one would be defending her.
