Oh no, more terrible celebrity news. Hulk Hogan's son Nick got into a bad car accident in Clearwater, FL this evening. He was apparently speeding down a main drag of the town and lost control of his yellow Toyota Supra. He and a friend in the car with him had to be removed with the jaws of life and airlifted to the nearest hospital. At this point Nick's condition is listed as "serious" while his friend's is "critical." Anyone who has seen Hogan Knows Best knows that Nick loves his cars and driving fast -- but this is just so sad. Our thoughts are definitely with the Hogan's and Nick's passenger's families. Hopefully there will be an update on their conditions soon.

Yikes. Considering how bad it could have been, "serious" is good news.
1This is sad, I hope everybody's ok. I saw pics of the car on Perez and it looked awful.
2aww this is so terrble.my thoughts and prayers are with the families.
3He's lucky he didn't kill someone else from drag racing his car! Sad!
4I'm so upset to hear this. Just this past Thursday a guy I graduated with last year died along with 3 other teenagers in a car accident because he was driving too fast in a sporty little car. I wish people would use their heads when driving and think about what the consequences could be.
5Yes, I am pleased that Clearwater paramedics were so fast onto the scene. I hate how the media is on them though. This must be difficult on its very own, not even noting dealing with paparazzi.

I heard about this earlier.I hope he makes a speedy recovery. The pics from the crash look awful.
7oh, that doesn't sound too good. My thoughts are with the family. Hope Nick and his friend recovery quickly.
8i hope he's alright. i also hope this stops him and his friends from driving recklessly.
9i dont think court street is suitable for drag racing but who knows really (ive only been down it a few times)...hope they both end up ok
10I saw pictures of the crash on perez and it looks SO bad. I hope he and his friend make it out of this okay.
11my heart goes out to both families
12That's heartbreaking but I agree that 'serious' condition is better than critical. I hope that when he recovers, he takes this as a lesson learned and slows down. And he better hope his friend pulls through too because if I'm not mistaken, that's a manslaughter charge if he dies.
13That's so horrible!
Hope they both pull through.
14i am praying for him and his family, they are so sweet together and love each other so much!
15wow . terrible news. Drag racing is probably one the most dangerous motor"sports" out there cos I know with Formula 1 , even if someone has a serious crash , they've put really great safety measures to protect the driver, i don't know about how protected Nick was in his car ... hopefully he'll be ok, his friend too.
16thats horrible
17Get well soon, both of you!
18i'm at work right now (5:36am) and they showed a video clip of the crash site. man.. i can't even imagine what everyone is going through. i hope they both recover.
19Poor guy.. I hope he and his friend are alright... and get well soon
20so sad love him
21Our prayers to his family (i think both of them, because were are two males in the accident).
22Safe recovery and good health to all involved.
23I'm sure he has been pulled over a million times and been given warnings...which he obviously didn't listen to.
Nick you should know better than to drag race. This is REALITY not Fast & the Furious.
24i hope its not too serious and they recover, hopefully he learns his lession, his dad made him watch videos of what happens when you speed, that clearly did not have an impact, i hope this does, get well soon.
25Hmmm if he was drving drunk or recklessly and I bet my a** he was I don't feel an iota of pity for him.
26I hope they are both ok. I read on another site that they said they didn't think drinking was a part of it just speeding. God Bless!
27Even speeding is just stupid they weren't only putting their lives at risk they were endangering other people on the road.
28I really hope that he is ok and his friend too. Reports are that he is in serious condition. My prays are with Nick, his family, and the family of the other boy, Nicks friend. The reports are he is in much more of a serious condition(friend).
29I know Nya, it is stupid. I shouldn't have put "just" speeding.
30wow, any updates on this?
31I feel so horrible for this family - they are so close, I bet Hulk and Linda are just sick with worry.
It was irresponsible on Nick's part but that doesn't make it less of a tradgedy for family members.
32oh no!
33My boyfriend is going to be so sad!
nyaradzom2001, its good to see that we haver someone who can make judgments on a situation they were not a part of. You take the art of assumption and tactlessness to a brand new level!
Good thing you've never ever sped in your life, ever. Keep throwing the first stones, buddy.
34This is terrible, and I'm surprised drunk driving hasn't been mentioned yet, because my friend was with Nick and Terry all day at the beach, and said they were all wasted
35That's horrible. My prayers go out to their families.
36That's too bad. Hopefully everything turns out for the positive in this situation.
37oh no, I love the hogans
I hope everything's okay, and thank goodness no one else got involved
in this. I'm sure the parents feel awful.
38It's kinda sad, but it could have easily been prevented.
39I heard that Nick has been released but his friend is still in critical condition. My thoughts are with them all.
40This is ridiculous if u ask me!! He is a celebrity who has his face out there and this father that is always pushing them to do the right thing, but Nick should know better than to be dragging on the streets. His friend is STILL in the hospital in CRITICAL condition.
He is gonna get a slap on the wrist. This is not his first time getting busted for driving in excess of 100 mph on city streets. He was cruising Alligator Alley at 120 mph and was stopped 2 times. The first officer accepted his story that he had an emergency but radioed ahead to tell the next officer that he warned him that his speed was WAY too fast. Guess what? Just a few more miles down the road....BUSTED! $350 ticket for 120 mph.
I love the Hogan's. But once again fame is getting to the kids and they think they are untouchable!!
Not acceptable to me.
