Katie Holmes Gets Back Into Her LA Routine
Katie Holmes took a solo shopping trip to Maxfield in LA yesterday, where she recently launched her own dress line, Holmes & Yang — get her look here. Katie's been spending most of her time in Boston recently while Tom works on his movie and Suri explores the city in the cutest ways possible. Katie still makes it back to California when she has to, including last night when she attended Elle's Women in Hollywood event in the city.

Katie Holmes' career is nothing great. She was on a terrible WB teen drama that got cancelled, made a few movie that bombed, a small part in a Broadway show in which she received only lukewarm reviews and has never even come close to being nominated for any kind of acting award. If it were someone like Jessica Biel up there, everyone would be left scratching their heads yet their careers are EXACTLY the same. The only difference is that Katie is married to a powerful man in Hollywood. So that earns her an award dedicated to WOMEN?????
