Well that's something I didn't want to hear. I wanted to see him in another movie with Ben, or done by him anyway. But I still hope that Owen recovers soon for his own good.
1Aw that's too bad Owen backed out of the movie.
And kudos to Katie Couric!
2Wow...I just read that about $12 mil to the dog. Wonder what the dog is going to do with all that money!
3Somehow I don't think Owen Wilson will get the privacy and peace he wanted during this difficult time. I'm sure every aspect of it will be on every website, magazine and newspaper every step of the way.
4$12 million to a dog? What is a dog going to do with $12 million? I used to have multi-millionaire clients that would leave money to family and charities. Queen of Mean indeed.
5the situation in burma is such a mess, but it seems like nobody knows/cares about it. the US doesn't have any political or economic interest in helping them out and meanwhile things are horrible over there. good for jim for trying to get the word out.
6i hope he gets the help he needs
7I read about Aung San Suu Kyi in Glamour (I'm pretty sure it was Glamour). It's amazing all the horrible unjust things that are going on in this world and some people don't even know about it. Good for Jim Carrey for bringing this to everyone's attention. I am all for celebs bringing these horrid accounts to light and to every day people.
8The whole situation surrounding Owen Wilson is something I did NOT see coming....
9I think she is leaving some to her charity foundation, too.
I read somewhere, on some gossip site, that Owen was really broken up over Kate, and that he really did love her, but she fell hard for Dax. Who knows if it's true...but interesting.
10Wishing Owen and his family all the best as they battle through this difficult time.
11Considering that Owen is a celebrity and he tried to commit suicide I highly doubt that he will get the privacy he needs.
12I hope for Nick Hogan's sake that his friend does pull through this.
Kudos to Jim Carrey.
I read that too FB1977. There's going to be a lot of speculation about this.
13So sad to hear of Owen Wilson - and no surprise that the queen of mean left all that money to her dog. Who wishes they owned that dog right about now?
14salutes to jim carrey!
btw.. did owen wilson really (wanted to) commit suicide? oh well..
15Burma makes me sad. I salute Aung Sun suu Kyi and hope that one day she can rule a deomcratic Burma.
16I'm looking to adopt a little white dog!
17I'm so glad someone [celeb wise] is finally speaking out on the situation in Burma. I think Jim Carrey should be commended for it. It makes me sad that so few Americans know what's going on over there. Thanks Jim... hopefully now more people will find out what's happening over there and do something to help.
18wow i wonder what the grandkids did to Leona.
i think that Owen dropping out is the best news - he needs to concentrate on getting better.
19I just hope Owen will get back on his feet.
20Yeh, can't believe that Aung San has still not been freed! it's quite sad and disappointing that no-one has been able to figure out a deal or something.
21As for the dog lady she musta been crazy! you can leave your dog money for it to be taken care of ... but comeon SERIOUSLY???? Starving kids in the world!!!if i was a lawyer i would sue her for having been incompetent or something ... get that money to good causes!
That's sad about Owen. It's good to hear that he isn't just jumping back into the swing of things. Money and fame can't buy jack.
22Good Luck Katie! Don't get shot.
23Nick should just lay low and shut his mouth right now.
24That's so ridiculous and stupid to leave a pet money... I don't understand the choices some people make.
25Who was held where and for what?
