Lindsay has been laying low (well, sort of) in rehab in Utah and the latest in her healing process is to meet with her estranged father. The terrible battle between Dina and Michael Lohan has been just one of the many reasons she has stayed away from him. That and his crazy ways of communicating from jail, via letters and odd songs. Lindsay's brother Michael suggested they meet and even Dina apparently thinks it's a good idea so she can get "closure." Dina even lifted a restraining order so he could visit Lindsay. Page Six reports the meeting will be taking place but they won't be left alone. They are both trying to remain sober so they can bond over that and maybe Lindsay will even get some new material for her next album.

12I agree with floweroflove: LL's parents are TOTAL media wh0res, riding on the coattails of their daughter's fame. Not just riding -- stepping all over!
On one hand, I'm glad LL's dad is going to visit her, but on the other hand, I don't think LL is going to get better until she distances herself from both of her parents, at least when it comes to business.
Unlike most of the other skanklets (Paris, Britney, etc.), I think LL has talent. I hope she gets better. I want to see her go the route of Drew Barrymore, not Anna Nicole Smith.
My advice to LL: get clean, get a real manager, get a good PR person, and get back to making movies!

17Britney Spears is a manufactured pop tart who used her physical appearance to woo pedophiles and impressionable young girls into bringing her to the top of the abysmal pop/Top 40 radio scene. Even with ProTools her "singing" is reminiscient of a sick duck, and her backups had a tendency to outdance her.
Besides posing for Playboy, Anna Nicole Smith did fashion modeling for Guess, Lane Bryant, and others; whether or not "modeling" is an actual talent or simply genetic luck is a matter of debate.
Paris Hilton does nothing.
Nicole Richie does nothing.
LL has proven, at least to me, that she can actually act, starting with "The Parent Trap" and continuing on through "Georgia Rule". (I'm leaving out "I Know Who Killed Me", not because of the horrible reviews it got, but because I haven't seen any of it yet.) It's going to be harder for LL going forward, as it will be harder for the general public to separate the actress herself from the characters she plays on the screen, but I really hope she pulls it together because I'd like to see her get that Oscar. (Hey, if Gwyneth Paltrow got one...)
