I just saw Mission Impossible III (the latest one on DVD now). It was actually good. But, for the first half of the movie, I kept thinking ewwww. But, it was a good flick.

I also watched Rest Stop last night...it scared the cr*p out of me!! I actually thought it was worse than the The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I could barely sleep last night.

I think Tom is crazy. But, at least he takes a stand for what he believes in and just does not go with the flow of other hollywood socialites. Gotta give him credit where credit is due...

I would not call it a comeback....he has not made a movie yet....I think no matter what studio he is with the fact remains that people are put off by him.

I for one have no intention of paying good money to see him act.

I figured that's what you meant, Ginger - the "new" Kaballah is crap. Real Kaballah is supposedly fascinating. And someone deep into Kaballah would probably look to Jesus as possibly a prophet, but not believe in him as the son of God.

As for Tom, I don't think he's a "fantastic" actor. The only thing I really liked him in was "Magnolia". He fails to slip into a role. Instead, when I see him on screen, I think: "Oh, yeah, it's Tom Cruise playing Jerry McGuire", not "Oh, it's Jerry McGuire!" And in this case, it's not like UA offered him tons of money to come work with them, he had to buy a controlling interest in the studio.
