Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen were welcomed into the Council of Fashion Designers of America at their new members reception in NYC yesterday. They were joined by longtime friend, Diane von Furstenberg, as they mixed and mingled at the Four Seasons. The girls are quite the successful designers at this point and recently announced they're expanding into eyewear next. When they're not working on The Row or Elizabeth and James, Mary-Kate and Ashley can usually be seen with their boyfriends sharing romantic moments or double dates.

i guess that's a good thing for them. they've really been seeing a lot of success in the fashion world lately huh? i think that it's something that we never expected from them but it's a good thing none the less. congrats girls!

6Ashley's eyebrows are huge dark and coming to get us! Nasty. It reminds me of when they were on SNL and did that skit about being contestants on The Swan.
