Ok, Carrie used to have questionable outfits that I didn't think were appropriate or safe to wear outdoors but this? This is just disgusting. Not even adorable Lucy Liu could pull this off.

i love it! I miss the Carrie outfits. True, some of hers were a bit out there, and obviously there were many I wouldn't wear, being from a midwest town, but the fact that it pushes fashion is exciting and different. Even if Carrie was wearing a crazy outfit, there would be parts that I liked, and would make me want to wear something similar.

I love the hat and jacket together.

Sorry, but just b/c a "stylist" puts together an outfit, that doesn't mean it looks good. I hope this is for some dream sequence or something, b/c Lucy L. looks like a cross btwn an oldtime newsboy and an oompa loompa.

Very inventive and creative, Patricia Fields-you just can't question her judgment after Sex and the City! Do you remember some of those outfits being ridiculous? We loved it though!

this outfit is revolting. lucy lui is gorgeous, but this outfit makes her look like a 12 year old boy. i loved sex and the city but even some of carrie's outfits were just too ridiculous and fugly to pull off. i think patricia fields maybe needs to take a step back and think about how ridiculous is too ridiculous.

I never loved it on SATC. It's actually one of the reasons I stopped watching. As the outfits got louder and louder, they distracted more and more from what was fun about the show. It became about the clothes and was annoying.

not cute. and I agree with alot of the other posters- a lot of the outfits on SATC were pretty hideous, too.

Not only should plaids be worn in moderation, but mixing plaids is enough to make the eyes bleed.

I love the Valentino bag and Fendi belt, but the rest of the outfit is at best highly suspect. I hope PF doesn't try this hard to re-create a "carrie Bradshaw" look for LL all the time or this hsow is going down the tubes fast!

if the jacket fit and she wore a simpler belt, she tossed the stockings and the hat, and wore better fitting and sleeker pants, this might work. but it would just be easier to start over.

Um o.k. I see where Patricia Field was going with this but honey it ain't work-in. It looks like a designer over explosion. Kind of like that girl who gets her first couple of designer pieces and wants to really do it up but instead ends up looking like fashion road kill. Ugh and those grey tights on Lucy Liu make her tiny legs actually look chubs.
