Re: the article about Bridget Moynahan. There was a sentence like "oh, and she gave the baby her own last name." HELLO! If my boyfriend and I broke up in that early stage of pregnancy, you bet your ass the baby would have my last name! I don't know why that irritated me so much.

Tom's probably pissed about that and released the story out of spite.

I can't believe that the nature of the 911 call for Owen was released at all. That is such an invasion of privacy. I would hope that all citizens, private or celebrity, would have their personal information held as private by police and emergency systems.

Medical information is so private, and there are all sorts of Hippa (?) laws that protect these. I can't believe it doesn't apply to 911 calls (and their "type", which was released about Owen).

I agree Jillness...911 calls are very personal and not for the public or media to hear.
Until recently, I thought 911 calls we considered private and not realsed!

i dont blame bridget m being bitter and still angary at him, but the baby is his son too. i cant belive its even a decision that the 911 call is not being made public, thats so private and i cant belive anyone would be that spitful to make it public property. i wounder why ushers mum hates his wife so much?

I totally dont believe the Tom/Bridget story. She's been sooooooooo classy the whole time, never talking smack about him or Gisele. So I don't believe that she is a mean spirited person.

Why in the world would she give him Tom's last name either? How bizarre. She's raising him alone on the West Coast. His dad lives with another woman on the East Coast. Uh, it makes loads more sense to give him her name. And she DID give him Thomas as a middle name, so....

Also, Tom is super busy right now with work. She couldnt have had a baby at a worse time for him. So I'm sure that he's not spending much time with the baby because he's so incredibly busy with work, not because he wants to stay away or she wants him to stay away. And they don't live on the same side of the country, which has to make a difference as well.

I really don't understand why 911 tapes are released at all. It always confuses me. There's no recording when you call 911 warning you that anything you say will be taped and given out to Access Hollywood should they so choose. It confuses me.

I'm not an Oprah fan. Love Dave though.

Bridget's attitude may not be justified, but it's understandable. I'd be angry too if my guy dumps me for a supermodel while I'm pregnant with his child. Who wouldn't be? Anyway, the article said Bridget didn't want to see Tom. It didn't say she kept him from the baby.

Bridget is more generous than I would have been by giving him the Thomas middle name. He wasn't involved in her life during her pregnancy, so it's understandable that she wouldn't want to see him the day she gives birth. Why let him ruin an otherwise special day.

I am not a big Brady fan but i don't understand why everyone bad mouths him in this situation. We don't know why they broke up and if he even knew she was pregnant when they did. Even if he did know about the pregnancy you can't stay with someone just for the sake of a baby. And i have also heard rumors that she got pregnant on purpose so maybe she was trying to trap him.

There's no such thing as trapping a man. When a man agrees to sleep with you without wearing a condom, then he's essentially agreeing to the possibility of fathering a child with you.

Claims that she tried to trap him seem pretty dubious. It's not something anyone could claim inside info on.

Bridget is a successful actress, and from what I heard long before Tom Brady was in her life, she has a close family, so her son isn't going to be lacking in funds or family, regardless of what Tom does. His showing up might have more to do with protecting his public image than a desire to be a dad.

I'm not saying it was true just a rumor that she tried to trap him. And if they were in a three year committed relationship she could have just been on birth control and no need for condoms.

i totally 100% understand not giving him the Brady name, but what i dont understand is all this Tom hate (yes, i am a patriots fan..little disclaimer there.) we dont know for sure AT ALL that he knew she was pregnant when he broke with her. i know if it were me, i wouldnt want someone to run back to me JUST because i was pregnant and not because they wanted to be with me. i'm definitely not a Gisele fan...i just dont get all the hate and conclusion jumping.

I dont believe Bridgett got pregnant by accident after being with Tom for years. OOOOPPPS???? I dont think so.... Yeah it is one of the hazards people face with unprotected sex, especially when they let themselves get pregnant when things are already going down hill with the relationship. Both parties should be blamed but as women, we need to be more careful and protect ourselves. Tom dated Gisele after him and Bridgette broke up. Gisele is not to blame in any of this and big deal he moved on with someone else. Anyone who brings a child into this world to try and salvage a relationship deserves to give birth to a watermelon in my opinion.

I hate made up drama too. Especially about a baby. I think it's a ridiculous story and disrespectful to two people who have done an excellent job of ignoring all of the drama that press has tried to drum up.

exactly roor, I agree. And she gave him his first name in there so it shows that she doesn't have a problem with him being the father.

I just think it's so wrong to label her a bitter woman when she is most likely perfectly content with her new baby and dealing with her ex. Why make it sound like these women can't be strong and get on with life without a man? Sheesh.

Its my understanding that since they are unmarried they have no choice but to take her name - he has to apply to have his name added to his son's after the fact....only reason I know is because a friend recently had to do this. She also gave the child Tom's full name after John (Thomas Edward or somthing like that).
