Yesterday afternoon was certainly a glimmer of hope for Britney fans - her new single Gimme More isn't bad (as for the other song Cold As Fire? I kinda hope it doesn't make the final cut). While the song leak was obviously intentional, the full album won't drop until November 13. She looked like a mess in a hot pink bra and ugly felt fedora on her way out of a tanning salon yesterday, but definitely not her worst. Her big comeback is still a question, but there's no reason to worry about her financial situation, according to legal documents in her child custody case (where Kevin is trying to get more $ from Brit) she still rakes in an average of $737,868 a month. Not too shabby.
As for that big, triumphant, Criss Angel orchestrated VMA performance, some more details emerged. Apparently the spectacle will include lots of mirrors, Britney disappearing/reappearing and backup dancers appearing to fly. Certainly not getting my hopes up just yet...but could it really be awesome?
