After a pretty slow week we get to end things with a gorgeous George Clooney arriving and premiering his new movie at the Venice Film Festival. He certainly wasn't shy about sporting his salt and pepper scruff paired with a big smile - but we would expect nothing less from him! After riding the Ocean's 13 tidal wave this summer, he's shaking things up with Michael Clayton, a thriller that focuses on corporate corruption. We love seeing George's fun-loving comedic side on the big screen, but we can appreciate his more serious roles too. As long as he brings his charm and that adorable smirk, we're good to go.

14I don't understand why people make an issue about the fact that he isn't married. He was married, he got a divorce. He has had girlfriends and maybe we just don't know his latest because he doesn't want us to.
It's funny how nobody ever says anything about Diane Keaton. She's never been married, adopted two children on her own, has dated men, well if you count Woody Allen as a man (LOL!) and she wears suits and ties. Does that take away from her as an actress and as an olde woman being single? Nope. And I don't think it should take away from George being a handsome man and single. If he was running around dating a bunch of women, there would be a chart made up about him like the one for Cameron Diaz and John Mayer. He can't win.

22I was so excited about my intital post that I forgot to add about George and him being girlfriendless and gay. I know I've said it before but the public is so use to seeing celebritites in and out of marriages and relationships that it has become the norm. I whole heartedly believe that George is one of those men with class who doesn't flaunt his relationships and believes in keeping things private. As jmast mentioned he has been married and had a long time girlfriend up until recently.

Oh, I love Cary Grant...I don't think I would compare the two...I think they are both so handsome but very different personalities...the only thing that's really the same is the salt and pepper hair and that they both wear/wore a tux so well.
And I read the biography on Cary Grant and it really does sound like...gasp..he was gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that...but he was my ultimate favorite Hollywood man (sorry Clive!!). My mother refuses to believe it and is pissed off I even mention it..LOL!
