Jake Gyllenhaal spent yesterday afternoon walking in NYC with his dad Stephen. The father-son outing included shopping before heading back home in a taxi. It was a nice little break for Jake, who has been spending the last few weeks working on Love and Other Drugs in Pittsburgh. His costar in the film, Anne Hathaway, also managed to fit in a trip to the Big Apple, but it doesn't look like Reese was able to join Jake in New York for the weekend.

5It was gutsy of him to take that role in Brokeback Mountain...I mean look at the stupid rumors he has to deal with because of it. A weaker man would have been afraid to do it. Obviously, Jake is secure in his manhood and a brave actor.
6Have you two who think Maggie looks like the dad seen the mom? Maggie is almost her mirror identical to her mother. IMO Jake doesn't look like either parent. And as for that "he's short" remark, neither of these men are short. You need a frame of reference. They're both over 6 foot.
