Suri Cruise showed off the latest addition to her high-heel collection while out shopping with Katie Holmes this morning. The girls were back to their usual adventures after a fun weekend together of visiting Tom on set and picking pumpkins at a patch. Their family got a head start on their decorating for Halloween, and apparently Suri couldn't wait to get in her costume! She showed off her newest princess outfit later in the afternoon, while she and Katie stopped to see Tom during his break from work on Knight and Day.
More photos of Katie and Suri wearing heels so read more.

Those are not just any dress up princess shoes, I have a feeling those are designer shoes, more expensive than any shoes I own.
1They really shouldn't let Suri wear heals all of the time.
2I agree those definitely are NOT the plastic dress up princess shoes most little girls play in. Those are real high heels made for a TODDLER and it's absolutely INSANE.
This kid is still on a bottle at three but wearing designer heels... don't you just love these Hollywood parents? LOL.
3Such a beautiful little girl, but I bet she's a real brat, hopefully she turns into a nice young lady.
4what is up with people dogging the heels? they are not high heels. when i was younger my patent leather mary janes had a taller heel than that, it just wasn't so narrow. people worry themselves with the most ridiculous stuff. she is a precious child and dude, if my parents let me wear dress up clothes and high heels everyday of my life i would have been the happiest child alive. chill out.
5@ laurenlanzaosias - you may have thought you were the happiest child alive but what you really would have been was the child destined to grow into the young adult with jacked up toes and spine issues because of having had your feet in narrow high heels during your formative years. We don't know that Suri wears these shoes regularly and so we shouldn't presume to condemn her parents but its generally a bad idea to have young children wear shoes like this.
6laurenlanzaosias, I hear ya. Why not let Suri have fun. Enjoy it now as tomorrow is promised to no one.
7you people are nuts! she is 3 and i am sure she loves to dress up. didnt you love to dress up as a little girl? RELAX!!!
8she is adorable!!!
9such a cute little girl~
10saw them in madewell on newbury street today around 3:00. loooots of paparazzi.
11Cutest on earth!
12She looks like a very normal, happy, little girl.At least she doesn't get photographed all the time with a permanent puss on her face like a couple of other celebrity kids.Spoiled or not she's adorable.
13Such a sweet happy fam.
14Anon #6: Are you a physical therapist to make such a statement? You couldn't be because any PT worth their salt knows that will never happen because a child does not wear those shoes 24 hours a day all through her formative years to do such damage to her feet and spine.
15Most of the time Suri is in her ballet flats.
She's cute, and I used to love wearing heels when I was her age too =)
16Eh - I don't like the heels at all. For her costume, I can understand them, but not for day to day use. I also completely agree with the poster who said those heels probably cost more than anything I own!
17What's With Dressing Toddlers in Heels? (Hi, Suri!)
What is with TomKat dressing Suri up like a teenage fashion freak? High heels are not appropriate on a toddler!
—Liz Ruiz, via Facebook
Well, neither is fame, but Suri's parents have had no problem parading her around in public and in the media since the day she was born. How on earth is Katie Holmes supposed to boost her image as a fashionista without dressing up her 3-year-old like a tiny runway model for an itty-bitty Paris Fashion Week?
I mean what do you want Katie to do, concentrate on her fashion line? Yeesh.
Indeed, high heels were basically designed to make females look sexier. They lengthen the leg and tilt the hips forward. But given that the shoe height on Suri is pretty small, the real issue here may actually be something more serious...
...her development.
"This is really setting the kid up for some issues," says Ray Margiano, a pedorthist and founder of Foot Solutions. "The feet are the foundation of your body. If it's not solid and correct, you start seeing stress cracks."
Specifically, bunions, hammer toes, improper muscle development and the like.
For the record, Suri's occasional high heel appears to be an exception in celebrity child shoes. Most other stars put their kids in cute little flats from companies like Geox, a favorite with the spawn of Kelly Ripa, Barack Obama and Courteney Cox.
And apparently that's a good thing.
"While the heels seen [on Suri] are not terribly high, they do force Suri's feet into an unnatural walking position," says David L. Hill, a doctor and the pediatrics expert on JustAnswer. "Worn for short periods they may lead to minor pains, but if they're a regular part of her wardrobe I think most podiatrists would have a conniption."

18i really see NOTHING wrong with her footwear choice. they aren't 'high heels' they are little girl shoes with a little heel...and well if suri couldn't walk in them and run and play, then she wouldn't wear them. you see her wandering around all the time, and you know that little kids complain if they aren't comfortable or if they can't run and skip and be 3 yrs old - so i don't get why everyone's so opinionated.
19And some people have the gall to say Tom and Katie are a normal family. There is nothing normal about letting a 3 year old daughter
1. wears heels
202. dress like winter in the summer and dress like summer in the winter.
3. wear diapers,
4. suck a baby bottle
This kid is still on a bottle at three but wearing designer heels...
----------------------------------------------------
You forgot to mention diapers in your list!
21ugh, what morons...like I've said, judging by Katie's feet, Suri may inherit some bunions, why aid in the process...and I just think it's skeevy to have a toddler, who (as stated above) still uses a bottle and diapers wearing little heels...can't stand this family - Free Katie
22As long as she doesn't wear them all the time it is no big deal. They were probably custom made, which means they fit her better and have more support than a pair of ballerina flats. I would rather see Suri in those shoes 24 hours a day than some of these other Hollywood moms and their little mini-me sluts walking around L.A.
23That's right Brangelina I do have the gall..........
24Not digging the high heels on a toddler. Why must her parents continue to sexualize her by putting her in something so adult?
The only difference I see between the shoes she is in and the hooker shoes Noah Cyrus wore the other day is that Suri's shoes are perhaps a bit "classier." Nonetheless, she is three and shouldn't be in something so grown up.
25high heels even that short change and sexualise the walk...it makes the hips balancing.
26I'm not even going to say anything about the shoes this time, but why isn't she in a jacket and tights?! I know we had the same discussion last year, but seriously! A blanket isn't enough when it's cold outside and even if Suri is refusing to wear a jacket, Katie is the mother and should act like one.
27They seem to enjoy parading their child in these icky propaganda shoots, that show their young child in these etheral almost aryan situations. They are cultivating her as some kind of superior child chosen by scientology to be viewed as more adult and cookie tin perfect. It all seems very wierd to say the least.
28Its nice because so few of you that mock and predict this child will be nuts and mess up will turn up so well including her family. Judgemental ppl usually eat their words.
29I like Tom and his girls are beautiful.Love the photos of Katie kissing Suri.
30Oh how lovely they are what a special family....
31Such beautiful sweeties and the only weirdos are those who didnt play dress up as kids.
32These look very much like ballroom dance shoes which are very well constructed and supportive. While I don't condone children wearing heels since their bones don't ossify until adolescence, if she insists on wearing heels, ballroom dance shoes would be the best alternative, but only on a limited basis.
