According to Us Weekly, Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams have split, after being together since 2005. Rumor has it that the couple, who have an adorable daughter, Matilda, but never married, have been broken up for a few weeks now.
It's always sad to hear about celebrity break-ups, especially when there is a kid involved. Hopefully these two will keep things civil for the sake of little Matilda. Something tells me this won't be a problem considering how private they have always kept their personal lives.

13Aw, this is sad! I briefly met Michelle at Fashion Week in February, and she was really sweet—beautiful and gracious. I'm sad that she and Heath are splitting up.
14I always thought Heath is not a husband material ever since he dumped Naomi Watts. she's so in love with him yet he suddnenly jumped into Michelle on the set of Brokeback Mountian and she's pregnant straight away... what's love in there? Now I am more happy to see Naomi has found her a man and a healthy baby.

21My friend spent the summer interning in Chicago and Heath was in town filming for the new batman movie. She saw him out a few times, he was hanging out with fairly well known drug dealers and she said he looked like he hadn't showered in days and was clearly drugged up.

37I'm surprised.. they are really private, so I thought things could work out. Matilda is adorable. I wish them the best. Divorces always come to a shocker to me, but the most surprised I've been in my entire life is probably Reese Withesrpoon and Ryan Philippe - that totally came out of left field.
And about Ben& Jen - Oh, I hope it works out. They're one of my favorite couples who know how to balance their life and Violet is way too adorable!

49Not surprising. They never looked convincingly happy together; she was always giving him the adoring gaze and he always looked liked he'd rather be somewhere else. Plus from the looks of him recently I see impending issues Michelle's best off out of. It's only a shame that she seems to genuinely infatuated with him.
