i think that their relationship is very new, and they're having fun with each other even if they're both fakes.. which i could say means they are perfect for each other.. but for the long haul, i don't think they will last forever. they both have very big egos and that will mess with everything. i hope, Heidi realizes that before everything is too late. this wedding thing is just an act for the MTV viewers to get more airtime!

i think that heidi really loves him and that he is totally using her. she seems to be the kind of person who gravitates towards stronger personalities and spencer, as awful as he is, is a very strong personality, and that's going to work against her in the end. unfortunately i think that spencer is going to break up with her and then find that he has no one else and will have to retreat back into obscurity. DARN!

I think they might be dating but they are also using their engagement as a way to stay in the limelight.Spencer is Heidi's manager so he is probably directing her so they can stay in the news.I wouldn't be surprised if MTV has their wedding aired and they have there own show depicting their life before and after the wedding.

the whole jason and lauren thing is an act especially when i heard that jason was marrying his 'long time girlfriend' who goes to USC, but then again, he's supposed to be appearing in the new season of the hills with lauren, yeah real fake. but then again, spencer and heidi are ugly people they just might need eachother.

I think their relationship is real. A lot of people are in bad relationships. They seem very shallow and kind of perfect for each other. I am sure they will get married and it will be on TV.

My guess- Heidi is real about being in love with Spencer. Spencer though, is a total faker. He seems more interested in using the relationship to build a career for them both. He is her "manager" and as far as I can tell, that's his only job. He was once Brody Jenner's 'manager' but I think that's over now and Heidi is his only current client/girlfriend.

I'm with you Taylorbath and Onesong - I think she's (stupidly) totally into him, and he saw that she's on a show on MTV and is using her and manipulating the hell out of her to become more famous. There's no doubt in my mind that he's using her and the show for his own interests. I'm just not sure where she's coming from. On one hand, it really does seem like she's out for fame and notoriety, but then she sometimes seems so genuine.

it's the only way they could stay semi-relevant & hope to stay on the show. spencer is creepy as heck. sometimes I think if the cameras weren't rolling he'd totally snap. he seems like a major jerk. heidi is a loser for being so easily manipulated & losing all her friends for a guy. will she ever admit the obvious nose/boob job & bleach hair? It's so annoying when people deny MAJOR amounts of work. The 2 of them are so completely desperate for attention, it's sad. Why would anyone care? Usually when people marry just to get publicity / careers, it doesn't last but for a short amount of time. The plan always becomes a trainwreak in the end.

I have yet to see an episode of Laguna Beach or The Hills, so all I know is pictures, and the snippets of Prince of Malibu.

I have a feeling that they are together but they are going overkill with this whole marriage thing. Spencer does appear to be a very dominant person and if they are really together, I feel HORRIBLE for Heidi. No matter how smart or dumb someone appears to be, they do not deserve to be with someone like him.

I love The Hills but it seems a little bit too staged sometimes. I think that Spencer specially is trying to milk this as much as he can and gain a career out of it. And Heidi is eating it all up too hopefully she won't end up getting hurt like JLo did in the end being in the spot light so much ended up distroying her relationship with Ben Affleck and they're both very private now.

i definitely think that they are dating and possibly she is in love with him (how else could you stand him), but i definitely do not think that his feelings for her are true, and I am sure they are not going to walk down the isle.

Can't stand them!!!! I think its for publicity. Spencer looks creepy and Heidi is clueless. Spencer wants to be famous and he's just using their relationship for his 15 minutes. They apparently inform the media when they go out so that they can be photographed. I like how Heidi doesn't admit NOW to having surgery but she did a whole spread about it in US magazine after she had her boobs and nose done. Does Heidi not see the footage from the show of the stuff Spencer has said in the past? Please.
