Brad left behind Angie and the kids for a big Babel premiere night at Westwood's Mann Village Theatre in LA. Kate glowed in her Ralph Lauren gown but it was Brad that she was gushing about. Cate complimented her co-star in his role as her husband by saying he was, "a brilliant risk taker as an actor, and it is a testament to his versatility that he is being consistently rediscovered."

1I saw this movie and I didn't think Brad Pitt did anything amazing in it. The role was a pretty one dimensional part.
2I miss Alicia...Clueless is one of my fave movies. As much as Cate is a great actress, I do not see why ppl think she is beautiful.

Wouldn't that just frost Cruise's ass if Pitt won an Oscar. That's enough reason to cheer him on.
8I didn't think there was anything one dimensional about the role or Brad Pitt's acting in "Babel." I don;t expect much of Brad except to be on the screen and look pretty, but he pulled off a rathered complicated role with a nuanced performance.
9I have read great reviews about brad's performance, good for him!
poor zach braff looks like a cabbage patch kid compared to brad pitt...

26Jeeze Louise Brad is HOT! I saw Babel and Brad killed it. IMO he definitely deserves at least an oscar nomination. Check this movie out if you can but bring the tissues.

30The studio is going to campaign for Brad to go for best supporting actor, that is what George Clooney did for Syriana, ans it obviously worked. He probably would not stand a chanve in the best actor category if hge does not carry the movie, and from what I have heard, it has a lot of stars carrying it together.
Imagine, if brad gets his oscar, it will have been one hell of a year for him.
Cate Blanchettes dress is horrendous, but she is so elegant that it works for her.
31I love Cate Blanchett. I think there is a new movie where she comes back to play Queen Elizabeth again, and I can't wait. Brad is hot, and I was never that into him until Snatch.
32I haven't seen Babel (I'm really looking forward to it). I love Cate Blanchett's unusual, angular (and something androgynous) look -- I don't like that dress at all, but somehow she makes it work. That's pretty damn cool.
