I didn't hear the homophobic slur story. I can't see TMZ here, it's blocked.
that's awesome he raised so much money!
I didn't get to hear that story either...going to TMZ now!
good for jerry lewis, pete and cokekate need to just go away
I am so f**king sick of evangelists slamming gays and then being caught with their pans down. he needs to shut hi trap and take the amazon rainforest out of his eye instead of the sawdust in gay people's eyes.
I'm happy about Whoopi on the View, I probably still won't watch it though.
I didn't know that they still did this Telethon.
Jerry Lewis has become a pathetic jerk. First he says Merv Griffin "deserved to die" and then he calls someone's son and "illiterate fa**ot" while trying to raise money for an important cause. What an arse.
Awesome news all around. Except the Howard K. Stern and Larry BIRDHEAD thing... Poor dudes! Whether they did or didn't do it... someone's got it out for them. Uh, no pun intended?
i already read that Whoopi was defending Michael Vick this morning about the dog fighting conviction...so much for Drama Free Season...
i actually support michael vick too.
i can't wait to read that book. my dad said all along that those 2 were involved.

Larry Birkhead & Howard K. Stern involved??? Romantically?? WTF?!!!!
I didn't hear anything about them being romantically linked. That pairing would be really nasty.
Why would you support Vick? (Just wondering if I missed something, because that seems really odd to me).
Also, I think that Jerry Lewis needs to donate some of that money to gay youth charities (where many of them go to escape parental violence). There is far too much violence against gay people in our society to let something like that slide.

It's a woman with an ax to grind making the comments about Birkhead and Stern being sexually involved and in cahoots - someone who has NEVER met Larry and was not allowed to see Anna. Oh, and the woman's brother also was arrested for stalking Anna. And Rita Crosby thinks she was a credible source? And sorry, if I was Larry Birkhead, I would have made a deal with the devil himself to get my daughter where she belonged - with me.
I'm not understanding why anyone would support Michael Vick. Dogfighting is ILLEGAL. He broke the law. He has to pay for it. Should his football career be over? I don't think so, but it's up to the NFL whether they wish to have him around or not.
i wish they would just leave the whole anna nicole situation rest already.
Dogfighting is common in the South, so I can see why Whoopi defended Vick on today's season premiere of The View.
Yeah, I don't get the supporting Michael Vick thing, either. What is with everyone thinking that laws are optional? They're not. Anyone who breaks the law should be punished accordingly. For goodness sake, celebrities who do far less egregious things like speaking their politically incorrect minds or wearing fur (which is not illegal, even if you think it should be) are practically crucified by the same people who want all the criminals to walk. WTF?
Okay who really cares about this Pete Doherty kid anymore?
I don't expect anything more from anyone born before me really. I have a generally assumption that most older people are homophobic and people prove me right daily. It doesn't make the homophobia acceptable by any means, but none of it shocks me.
