Nicole Kidman opened up (literally) on the cover of the October issue of Vanity Fair. Nicole has had a lot going on in both her professional life and her personal life lately - she has three movies coming out and her husband Keith Urban recently finished a stint in rehab. She will begin doing a lot of promotion for her films and it starts with the VF article and a Ladies Home Journal one. USA Today has some highlights:
- On having a miscarriage:
“From the minute Tom and I were married, I wanted to have babies. And we lost a baby early on, so that was really very traumatic. And that’s when it came that we would adopt Bella.” - On raising a teenager:
"I called Tom (from Australia) and said, 'Guess what? Bella wants blue hair.' I go with my daughter to the hair salon to get it dyed blue, and I look at her and I think, My God, it's cool!" - On having more kids:
My husband really wants a couple of years, he said, 'where I just have you.' So it's kind of romantic. He's like, 'I just love the two of us.' It's really honest. So as a woman I sort of hear that loud and clear and go, 'OK, I get that.' So that's kind of what we decided."

7oh nicole, i love her. she's one of my favorite actresses working to date. For someone who has gone through alot she has certainly carried herself well. you don't see her going crazy like becoming an alcoholic or a druggie. i guess she was raised well and you know what they say you are the product of your environment.

She says in the article that her kids prefer LA and she visits them there a lot. They are also being raised Scientologists (which was part of the divorce and custody arrangements)

36Tom has little man complex. So over the GMD. I have German and poilitical Science courses with the same profs I've had for the past two years. i love them but I just hate being around over eager frosh, and just the sheer amount of people at my schoo. They bug me a lot.

44Exactly how is "Nicole on top"? Her last two movies, Fur and The Invasion bombed big time, and before that she did some pretty bad acting in The Stepford Wives and Bewitched. I wouldn't say she is on top at all, but she gets a lot of media hype no matter what and gets a pass just because of her Oscar for The Hours. When was that? 2003? I'm no Tom fan but people like to see Nicole as a victim of Tom and she is not, she even says in this interview that she doesn't regret marrying Tom, and seems fine that her kids are being raised as Scientologists.
45I couldn't agree more with Tuscan! How can her husband have time to themselves when she has two kids? Two kids that you NEVER see them photographed with. I always feel like they're sent off to some boarding school or something... But what do I know. Everyone has a HUGE life beyond the pics we see!

47It means gay midget dwarf raptin. Pink I want to scream when they're like let's get LOADED, first time away from home and for a lot of them they are from tiny communities of less than 300 and this is their first time in the city. We have end of summer bashes this weekend and i am not looking forward to going to parties or downtown cos they'll be there wrecking the scene. i thank God I was so underwhelmed by the whole university experience.
