NY Fashion Week officially kicked off last night with the "Une Journe A Paris" party hosted by Van Cleef & Arpels at Hammerstein Ballroom. The party had a Paris theme, complete with French band The Plasticines and cabaret dancers. This is just the first of many NY Fashion Week events -- and our girls are there for all the action! SMG mentioned that she'd owned her dress for a while but this was her first time wearing it. She said,
"I've had this Chanel dress for a while but never had occasion to wear it. I thought tonight was a great excuse. You know, they're always talking about the romance of Paris, but the last time i was there it was a girlfriends trip and I had so much fun."
Oh you know, just some Chanel lying around -- lucky girl.

1Why is Mischa even considered a Celebrity? She was a semi-celebrity back in the OC days but then she bailed there... she shouldn't be around anymore. She's one step away from being a True Hollywood Story, where are they now...
2i love mischa's hair color, she looks so romantic... like on one of those romantic movies... haha! that's what i feel when i look at her anyway.

5I like SMG with the lighter hair. Usually I think too many people go blonde without it flattering them, but in her case I think she looks much better as a blonde.

9Sarah Michelle looked absolutely stunning-as usual. And Christina23559, I completely agree with you. Why is Mischa Barton even here, doesn't she have to finish filming her straight to DVD movies? Even when she tries to look decent, she fails. Love that SMG though. She's so effortlessly stylish and beautiful.

I think SMG looks very cute and love the blonder hair...but I wish the dress was pulled up a few inches. Things look droopy.
