Ben stood proudly next to (not touching) his baby bro Casey at the press conference for Gone, Baby, Gone at the Deauville Film Festival today, then stepped outside to take some pictures with fans. Casey's been in town since premiering Jesse James there over the weekend, but this must have been an extra special afternoon celebrating his big brother's directorial debut (no wives allowed). Jen may have sat this one out, but she's still adorably gushy about Ben's project. She recently said about watching it again and again, "I cry in a different place for a different reason every time." While that's definitely an interesting reaction - considering it's not a feel good film, I imagine that's the biggest compliment his wife could give him.

19I heard the movie was really good. The author of the books says it is great, and I heard someone say it was "this year's Departed"...which we all know won the best picture oscar last year.
I wish Ben all the best with this film. I like dramatic movies that are well done.

This project is his baby - the book he loves , taking place in the city he loves, he did the screenplay and directed it and his brother is in it - I'm surprised he is standing up and not in bed with one of his migraines.
