The Affleck Brothers continued on sans wives and kids with a brotherly premiere of Gone, Baby, Gone at the Deauville Festival last night. Gotta love brothers -- especially when they're this handsome. While it's always a treat to see Afflecks working together, apparently this wasn't just a case of playing favorites -- according to the first reviews of the movie both Ben and Casey did an excellent job on the movie. The Hollywood Reporter not only called it the best performance of Casey's career, but said it will be "remembered as one of the best crime movies of this decade." Both Jennifer and Matt loved it too, but this must feel great. Don't want to get too excited just yet, but little Violet will be so proud.

10I've always been a fan of Casey. I was just telling my husband about him and how I'm excited I was to see him in the assasination of jesse james. He was great in the last kiss. Summer is one lucky girl cuz he is a cutie!

13I read that Ben and Casey got a Standing Ovation after the screening of "Gone Baby Gone". In the interview for "The Boston Herald" newspaper today Ben said he was extremely nervous and panicked yesterday.
No wonder Ben wasn't smiling in many of the pictures for the photocalls. I'm happy his movie was well received.

WOW! I am so happy for them that the movie was well received. I heard it was good...but sometimes people can be bias. If multiple sources are saying so, and especially the HR, that really says something.

36That's great to hear. Ben made some pretty bad films for a while there, but I think he's talented (screenplay for Good Will Hunting, acting in Hollywoodland). It would be cool to see him make a comeback. Maybe he needs to stick to screenwriting/directing...or just quit picking crappy films to act in. I'll definitely check out Gone, Baby, Gone when it comes out.
