I was on a Southwest flight from LA to San Francisco Sunday and sat right behind Jon Voight! He was seated in a window seat being quite chatty with the two girls next to him, who didn't seem to have any idea who he was. They talked about their jobs, where they went to college and other small talk conversation. His career never came up. I was surprised how talkative he was, and just waiting for him to say something about Angelina. He seemed like a really, really nice guy. He's a lot taller than I expected him to be, probably about 6'4. When he got off the plane he hung out for a while in baggage claim where no one seemed to recognize him.

3Caterpillar, I had no idea he was that tall and I have seen tons of Jon Voight's movies.. how often do you see a celebrity and comment on how if they looked like you thought they would?! I mean, thats what you do.

8He announced to the press that she has Maddox before the deal was made. She almost lost her son because her father wanted a bit of publicity. I'd be angry too.
Plus he went on some E! gossip show and cried and said he was worried about her handling a child. She seems to be doing a pretty good job IMO. Plus, if you do have concerns, gossip shows are not the best place to air them.
Get the facts before you judge Ms .Jolie for having issues with her father. nobody knows what happens in families. The nicest fathers in public can me monsters in the privacy of their home. Trust me. I know!
9I think Voight is around 6'2 because Dustin Hoffman is only 5'5" which makes Voight looks very tall!!
As for letting Voight back into her life . . . nobody knows what happen between the two of them and none of you should judge. Angelina has recently said she and her father are talking to each other and trying to reconcile. That's a good sign but, really, Voight is one of those right-wing nuts who thinks everybody else is a commie. I wouldn't want him around my babies either!!
10whatever, I don't agree with shunning your father like that... Many people would do anything to even have a father... she should be so lucky...Some of us dont even have dads to reconcile with, so whatever...

12If my daughter had been Angelina Joile as a father a would have been worried too, please these loser fans of hers forget what she was like, making out with her brother, cutting herself, the drugs, her ridiculous relationship with Billy Bob, I once watched a red carpet interview were she causally tells the interviewer that she just gave Billy Bob oral sex in the limo on the way to the awards show, then she leaves Billy Bob adopts a foreign child all with a matter of months...... even now if she didn't have Brad Pitt with her she would be be a freak.... and Oscar winning actors are not normally nice to every one they meet, if anyone is not what they seem I'll put my money on her and not her father.
Who is the salt of the earth compared to the left wing nuts in Hollywood, who think every dictator is great as long as they are socialist like Hugo Chavez or a commie like Castro [ Mslewis ] and since I worked in the business most of those so called bleeding heart liberals are the nastiest people, who won't know how to be nice if they had to act it.

14I only found this web site because ol' Jon was active today in his extremist right-wing politics, taking part in a "Stop the Sensible Health Insurance Reform" protest taking place in D.C. today. I'm certain ol' Jon has a plenty good policy, being worth the millions he is, so of COURSE he's against others having the same thing! Besides, he may have to start paying INCOME TAXES if these Democrats get their way, and I'm sure he don't like that!
Of COURSE he's tall - that's his "calling card" alright, actually his ONLY talent!
