Nicole Kidman is on the cover of December's GQ UK as she gets out there to promote Nine before its release. Inside the magazine she opens up about her marriages to Tom Cruise and Keith Urban, as well as some of her more extreme bedroom interests. Here's more:

- On her romantic past: "I’ve explored obsession. I’ve explored loss and love in terms of being in a grief-stricken place, I’ve explored strange sexual fetish stuff."
- On marriage: "You work on it. It’s a very extraordinary, adventurous place to be: incredibly raw, incredibly dangerous and you’re very much out at sea. You're exposed. You could drown. . . When you commit to someone like that, you live and die together by that decision."
- On being with Tom Cruise: "I became famous very young. I became very famous because I was the wife of somebody. . . I know my agents at the time were like, "Do not get married! It will ruin your career!" and I was like, "But I’m in love." All I know is that I wasn’t someone interested in fame. And that’s not why I got married. I wanted to work with people who intrigued me."
- On keeping things private: "You can’t read somebody’s diary. You shouldn’t read it. I burnt most of my journals after I remarried… You’re only going to find out bad things."
It's rare to hear Nicole discuss her marriage to Tom or even her sex life, so tell us what you think — are her comments okay or over-the-top?

she is botox ed to high hell.
1I voted refreshingly honest just because I don't think what she said was over the top in any way. lol
2Ehm... botox was not the question. Just a thought...
3I'm a big fan of Nicole and love most of her movies and I really don't care if she use Botox like all other actors and actress in Hollywood.
4FINALLY someone admits they got famous because they were with someone famous.
5She's beautiful for her age. At least she's not a 20 something who looks like a 40 year old...lol.
6You mean, her frozen, scary botoxed face looks "beautiful" for her age?
7I don't think she looks scary. Yes, she's done quite a bit in the Botox and filler dept but, she looks a helluva lot better than a lot of other habitual cosmetic surgery patients!
I thought her answers were very refreshing.
8id like to hear more about her sexual fetish stuff- I'm sure some of it is dildo related-
9She looks ridiculous - like an ice queen.
I'm 27 and I have more crinkles around my eyes than she does.
she doesn't look her age because people her age have some WRINKLES.
you know, I was thinking about this yesterday when I was watching the Kona 2008 coverage (for the 100th time). they were interviewing a 72 year old competing in the Ironman, and she looked so much more beautiful with her wrinkles, sun spots, etc. than Nicole does.
10Ok, I'm 42. Yesterday I bought a bottle of wine and they asked for id. No wrinkles, I just come from a family of women who look very young. Not that it's necessarily a good thing. There's nothing wrong with looking your age and being treated accordingly, not like a teenager. But let her do what she has to do! It's her job!
11um, she's "over the top" with the botox and whatever else she's done to her mug...used to think she was pretty a looong time ago
12I think people forget that celebs are photographed with high def cameras. let's see what you would look like on the red carpet under a microscopic pic....You probably look different in person. I mean, we probably wouldn't be able to see wrinkles on certain celebs in person the way we can in the pix. idk. I can see why she would use botox... she was probably self conscious about having wrinkles.
13she's gorgeous because she seems honest and like a real person....botox or not. she's so classy compared to most actresses.
14I like her. Very talented. But I so liked the way she looked back in the day. Like in Dead Calm. Soft and pretty. Now she looks tight and pointy and harsh. Botox and facial nips and tucks have not done her any favors.
15I wish these narcissistic stars would stop doing this to themselves.
I stopped coming here a few weeks ago, just got so sick of the judgement, mostly women judging other women. You find those in real life too, and I just never get it. What's it to anyone else how I fix my face or assemble my wardrobe, if I lead my life pretty much decently in other respects?
The same goes for these celebrities, they are people, they make mistakes, they sometimes go overboard, sometimes not. But why does that matter when this particular celebrity has made some fantastic movies that still linger in mind years after seeing them?
16The last movie of Ms. Kidman that lingered in my mind was The Hours. Everything after that has been crap.
17There should be a limit to the amount of anon comments we have to see per person and in general. I always thought she was kind of pretentious or standoffish. I wouldn't broadcast my sex life but if she wants to that's her business.
18Let's see... Dogville, Cold Mountain, The Golden Compass...
19it's good to know she's still human under all that botox.
20Sort of a ridiculous poll, considering there is nothing in that interview that could be misconstrued as inappropriate or over the top.
21I wish she would have spilled the beans about Scientology!!
22"I wish she would have spilled the beans about Scientology!!"
Yes, please!
23I wish she would have spilled the beans about Scientology!!"
It would be even more interesting than her kinky sex life!!
24I don't know what I'd say if I was interviewed for the millionth time in one of these magazines. It's just same old, same old most of the time. I bet I'd just blab on about whatever out of sheer boredom.
25i agree with most of you...stupid poll. i love nicole and think she is beautiful, but the botox or whatever she is injecting needs to stop!!!! she is too beautiful and too talented to have to do that to her face to get movie roles. i love nicole!
26i agree...she is way too good of an actress to have to resort to tons of cosmetic surgery and botox.
i think she genuinely love tom back in the day but it sure didn't hurt her career by marrying him either. thank god she got out while she still could!
27On marriage: "You work on it. It’s a very extraordinary, adventurous place to be: incredibly raw, incredibly dangerous and you’re very much out at sea. You're exposed. You could drown. . . When you commit to someone like that, you live and die together by that decision."
That is the BIGGEST load of crap i have ever heard. Get a grip. Who is she kidding? That is not what marriage is in real life. That is what marriage is in one of those horrible movies she is in.
