Lindsay confessed her broken heart through her moving lyrics about her daddy. Now as part of LL's rehab process, she allowed her father to visit her in Utah. The abusive father who has been in and out of jail has found Jesus yet still loves himself some media coverage. This is gold to him. We're just thrilled Lindsay is still working on getting healthy. It's been a nice break this summer without her. As for the important reunion, E! reports:
"The moment Lindsay saw Michael, she started running and jumped into her father's arms," says an eyewitness to the reunion. "Her father hugged her and swung her around. Lindsay was so happy. It was very emotional."
Reached for comment after the Thursday afternoon visit, Michael, normally very chatty with the press, refused to reveal any details. But the Lohan patriarch was clearly overjoyed. "I can't comment on my relationship with my daughter," he said. "But [the reunion] was amazing."
We're not so sure we support the Lindsay and Michael Lohan reunion but it is all part of the healing recovery process and since they are both going through it perhaps all parties will come out changed. Let's just hope Michael doesn't run to every media outlet available to dish on his special day with his daughter. Sounds like he already has learned it's important to keep his mouth shut this time around.

13It's not fair "Not to Support" a daughter father reunion. We are only fed whatever insiders leak. It's very important for someone who is healing and recovering to confront their past and make peace. If you continue to ignore and live in anger then there's no way for improvement. I think this relationship is probably one that Lindsay really needs. Especially since they both are recovering addicts. Also Dina Lohan should not comment or exploit her personal feeling's or inflict her relationship with her estranged husband on her children. Trust me I grew up in this very similar situation. It can lead to bitterness and resentment and many years of taking loved ones for granted

23I have been loving less Lindsay coverage while she has been in rehab. Maybe she really is taking it seriously. I am glad that her father didn't comment. I think that with some serious counciling and therapy this family could turn it around. We just need to get Dina in there to have them knock some sense into her too.

34Coming from a broken home myself, I am very happy for her to take such a big step forward with her dad. It took A LOT of courage, and I have a lot of respect for her for doing this. Facing her abusive dad had to be hard, but hopefully healing as well. I almost did cry when I read that she ran into his arms and hugged him, that is so sweet, and I know the feeling. I wish her the best of luck with her recovery.

49WHAT?! As far as I can remember, Michael Lohan has never made any comments for publicity except for the purpose of getting through to Lindsay or to strike back at Dina, who is no angel herself. Most of them were something to the effect of, "I've been trying to reach out.. Blah I've changed... Blah Blah." I don't know how many of you can think he's worse than Dina Lohan. She completely pimped out her daugher and is the biggest famewh*re I've ever seen. At least Michael called out his daughter for her skank-tastic ways.
