Accusations of clandestine flirtations behind his back were published with delight. There was a backlash from fans who wanted her to stop leading Rob on and date him - which clashed with the backlash from the fans who wanted her to avoid him altogether.She has really been pushed to the limits and it's not okay. They have said repeatedly that they are close friends and people aren't satisfied because they NEED for these actors to be something else. It's kind of sick.
Here's the facts which we can all agree on:
They are in a whirlwind of relentless publicity that is being poorly contained.They have repeatedly denied being involved.Neither has had the time to form substantial romantic relationships due to work.They have rarely been seen alone together. Seriously. There are managers and security and friends and co-stars cropped out of nearly every photo.Their co-stars all deny a romantic relationship between them, saying repeatedly that fans "want to see them together like Bella and Edward".
The business of weighing and measuring every look, every word, every touch, has made gossip rags and that *sshole Ted C. very wealthy. Making it look like they are lovers has been the goal of the media.There is no evidence of romance between them. So they are such good actors that that hide their feelings publicly BUT they look longingly at each other and are obviously hiding something? How can you have both?

I really don't like her. I think her whole attitude is totally calculated and fake. No one takes on the lead role in one of the biggest franchises in history and honestly doesn't want to be famous. She says she's just an actress but she could be working on Broadway or doing indie movies. I saw the first movie and it was terrible! No real "actor" would ever sign on for that crap. Screw prinicples, she wants the money and the fame like everyone else and I'm sick of her faking it.

I agree jkat. Part of the job of an actor these days is publicity. If you don't do it, your movie fails and nobody makes any money. If we truly left them alone, they'd be out of jobs. We make these people rich by virtue of our interest in them so if they're tired of us, we should leave them alone and they can go work at some community theater.

It's understandable to a degree and I give her a little leeway because even though she is a pretty mature young lady, she is still that, young. I realize she wants to come accross with that "I don't give a F***" attitude in order to maintain some control of her life, BUT yes, she does need to learn how to say the same thing without the vulgarity. It only makes her look immature, not tough. She just lowers herself when she talks like that. She can still have that attitude without using the "F" word in every sentence.

It is too big and NOW what ever she says (dating or not dating) she will lose fans. The Robsten shippers will feel like they were led on. The Nonstens will feel pissed because she is dating Rob. You have to put in context. This may have been harsh but she isn't a huge b*tch, Kristen just seems to be very private and a little awkward.
