Actually, Katey seems to be much more scantily clad in these pictures than Beyonce, so the criticism (that I don't agree with) against just Beyonce is odd. I've got no problem with women who are confident in their bodies and sexuality (just tween/teen stars who haven't developed in mind but seem to think that maturing bodies is good enough reason to go around in little to nothing).

As a married woman...it is not okay to be showing what your husband gets. That's why I think their (Beyonce and Jay-Z's) marriage is a farce. I think a lot of persons well let me speak for myself first of all have an issue with Beyonce and not Katy Perry, Why you might ask? Katy does not talk about put herself as this certain figure and then parade on stage in these vulgar outfits. Beyonce is portraying herself as a religious person, virtuous and then she dresses like this, any religious person would take that as an offense. She is undoubtedly one of the most talented singers out there, beautiful and to me she is selling herself short, she can be sexy without showing too much, okay Shakira did not need to go that far and she is still sexy. Married or single she sang the song 'nasty girls' back in the days now this, you got to see the contradictory message that she is sending girls. I don't care what Michelle Obama says I would not like my girls to view her as a role model.

If you're looking for a star that sends contraditory messages looks no further than Miley Cyrus and her so called religiousness. That's who your girls shouldn't be watching. Beyonce is confident as a performer and a woman. Not every woman needs to share in the same style and because she dresses more provocatively does not equal her being a religious hypocrite or a skank or whatever you want to label her. It's just pathetic how women can be so vindictive towards other women who are not like them. There is a far cry from Beyonce and your average skank. It's music, it's expression and it should not be censored because you can't handle a woman who makes your prudish eyes uncomfortable. If you cannot differentiate between a costumed performance and real life then get your heads checked because women in this day and age should just be free to be without double standards (you don't have to be religious OR sexually confidant. You can be both!), especially when she isn't hurting a single person.
