Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester were decked out in chic Winter wear on the NYC set of Gossip Girl yesterday. Joining them was a familiar but unexpected face — if you're curious, check out who it is after the jump. At the moment, the show has its hands full with a bigger controversy — The Parents Television Council is up in arms about next week's threesome episode, which will apparently extend into the week after too. The show is all about pushing the boundaries, but we'll have to wait and see whether this scene lives up to the hype, assuming it makes it on the air at all.

1Yeah, I heard they were doing this Christmas Carol thing which annoys me a little as all TV shows seem to do that at least once and it's a little cheesy, but I think I may enjoy seeing it.. Chuck needs some more depth to his character, and some better story lines.

The Parents Television Council really annoys me. They are all up in arms over some sex yet this show frequently shows underage teenagers frequently drinking at different bars ALL the time yet they worry over a threesome? Ugh!

10Good Lord. If the Parent's Television Counsel is so worried about this show, how about you put some parent controls on your T.V. and not let your child watch it. Seriously. You can't control everything.

12If this show is indicative of what teenagers want to see, I fear we as societies are heading in the wrong direction. If you look at shows 10-15 years back, like Beverly Hills 90201, the characters has some depth, they dealt with various issues like drug and alcohol additiction, and it was not ALL about clothes/appearance and completely superficial intrigues. I watched the first season of Gossip Girl, but seriously, I just could not take it anymore, it is just too d*mn stupid and the only thing to love about the characters are their looks. SATC was a show that brought fashing into the forefront, but it was about so much more. I don't see Gosspi Girl pushing any other boundaries than that of being completely ridiculous. In fact, the storyline reminds me of daytime television at its worst.
13Wow, not as much character depth as 90210, you are obviously way out of date on the Gossip Girl plot development, must have watched a show or two in season one, no wait should have been able to pick some of that up from the pilot with bullemia, fractured families, and self absorbed parents providing the insight as to how mean girls are made, not born.
14These pics are interesting, gives the impression maybe Blair and Chuck are in trouble.
